Apologies for the mix-up! £294.80 to SF in March: LINK

No luggage or meals remember this as it costs more to add them.

very good price. I would reserve extra legroom seats as it's not much.

Yes, good point - have to add an extra £50 per person per flight for this 'extra'.

A home made sandwich, handful of Aspirins and plenty of bar service and you'll be quids in!

I have flown Norwegian a couple of times. Brand new planes both times and very decent all round

Link to Oakland/San Fran still going to LAX for me.

Regardless can be had as low as £259 during Feb.

Pro Norwegian tip: book through an online travel agent that doesn't book direct through Norwegian and you'll get two bags and meal included. And if you go through someone like Expedia you'll also then get hotel + flight discounts.

£285 via Expedia 22nd Feb to 1st Mar with two bags and meal.
If travelling with someone else and you only need one bag each book the 2nd flight direct.

Air New Zealand are only £360 in March with luggage etc - deal on until 12th extra £20 off per person

Not sure how you're not seeing a discount. Baggage, seat and meal is £50 each way direct. Typically the travel agent premium is £40-70 return.

So the OP's LA dates are £384 all-in. Booking via Expedia gets you an extra bag and is £349.

So if travelling with someone else, you realistically should only need one bag, so book one flight with Expedia for £349 to get 2 bags then book the 2nd flight direct for £284 - unless you want to sit together, in which case add £50, still a £84 saving.

Expedia is the cheapest reputable outlet. There are others, but they're only a few £ cheaper and do not offer hotel discounts when booking flights.

This page on Norwegian's travel agent site explains what you get agent.norwegian.com/uk/…ge/

You basically get the LowFare+ ticket.

If you're still unsure, Air New Zealand is £360 as someone posted above.

Edit: eDreams book direct, as they do with all low cost carriers so you won't get the extras with them.

When I compare prices for LGW to SFO between Experia and Norwegian, I don't see a discount.
For 22/03 to 03/04 I get £294.80 (£394.80 for the LowFare+) on Norwegian and £399.60 on Experia.

Very insightful thank you for taking the time. Im looking to go away next year with my wife so doing one ticket with Expedia, and one with Norwegian (Just reserve seats) will save me a few ££ thanks again
P.s I tried a ticket to new york and it was a larger 'jump' in price, guess it varies by route / bookings

It varies. It can be anything between £35-70 more than the LowFare price.

Anything above £50 is cheaper via Norwegian direct - but do remember you get 2 bags, not 1 and the likes of Expedia offer hotel discounts when booking flights together.

Right, so you can save up to £15 per ticket. Thanks for the info.

Do you know if you choose seats when booking with Expedia? Since it's 11h flight, it would be good to sit together preferably with some extra leg room.

Hire a car, Yosemite, skiing, then down to Death Valley for a warm up, across to Las Vegas and a trip out to the Grand Canyon.

£315 to Oakland from Manchester inc luggage meals, seen it on holiday pirates
