Do things have to be posted on Holiday Pirates then copied over to here?

Yes, for the people who don't visit Holiday Pirates

Just tried one of the dates and it came up as £421.26 via China Air.

I paid £470 for a return from London to Tokyo in August- beat that Holiday Pirates!

If you want a flight to Tokyo then Holiday Pirates would be the last place to look- just go straight to one of the various websites out there not via a link on HP.

By that logic we should ban groupon deals.

Not really, Holiday Pirates deals show at the side of the page on HUKD

I would like for all good deals from everywhere to be posted here, so I would have to check just one deals site, not 20

I have heard that Turkish Airlines( friend works with them) will be having a major sale starting 1st July with huge reductions on all sectors. Silly prices to far east etc. They have major problems with all the routes they operate and are having a huge sale to try and attract new customers. I am waiting for that.

Holiday pirates is just for holidays. I am looking for various deals, including holidays, why go to HP when I can have the best of both worlds?

How much are you looking to spend on a semi-decent time at Tokyo for a weeks stay?

I'm getting £421 how do you get this price?

Japan isn't cheap. You can easily spend £500 a week, and over 4 weeks I spent about £3k, staying in hostels and eating out 2/3 times a day.

avoid turkish airlines there's a reason why they need to attract more customers. .bad service.

Had my sights set on japan but didn't think it was that expensive. the flight travel dates include easter holidays but not sure if tokyo is a dream holiday place for young children in tow. wonder if there is cheaper places to stay outside of tokyo with scenery and boat rides and good quality food (all on the cheap or is that expecting too much for our pound?). i know families with teens that love tokyo and haven't said anything about it being really pricy. staying in a big crowded city isn't my idea of a holiday but i'm sure with research you could use it as a base to other places.

It's not a cheap holiday but I personally felt it was much cheaper than London even when I only got 130 yen to the pound (and the exchange rate is much better at the moment). It's as expensive as you make it really - there's plenty of cheap places to eat and stay but it depends what you are after and want to do.

The one thing I liked is that it didn't feel like touristy places ripped you off. Entrance fees in most of Japan seemed reasonable (or free) and a vending machine at a busy tourist location or at the airport charged almost exactly the same as one down a side street in a residential area.

I've been to Japan 4 times and would recommend it to anyone - though personally as much as I liked Tokyo I much prefer staying in Kyoto/Osaka just because of much there is to see and do in that area of the country. The train system really is amazing for getting around over there.
