Return flights to Dubai (From Romania) £64.35pp @ Wizzair

Ok, so this is from Romania not UK, but for around £64-£69 (depending on what currency you pay in), if LEI it converts to around £64.35. There are some return flights to Romania for 2018 with Wizzair for under £70.

If you sign up to the discount club for €29.99 you'll get a discount on your bags and at least €10pp off the price and given you'll need to get to Cluj-Napoca, or elsewhere in Romania, likely to be with Wizzair it could be better getting this added on.

Either way I think this is a bargain, combine it with a nice city break to Romania and I think it's great value.

Ridiculous, archaic, moronic law system aimed to persecute the tourists putting more money into the economy in the first place. They can can earn all they like from oil but without tourism they will be in trouble.

Their income isn't from oil. Dubai is fine if you behave yourself. It's very expensive, if you like shopping, like hotel eating, hotel drinking, like architecture, then it's for you. If you behave like some Brits do in any city centre in the UK on a night time, expect problems.

in dubai or not... it's called manners, you don't need to be in dubai to respect other peoples space, same rules apply elsewhere in the world

One of the problems with Wizz Air is they seem to shift their schedules near to the flight times so if you booking a series of flights I'd be cautious about one shift causing a domino effect toppling over all your other holiday plans.

Also it seems July. I thought best time to go there is winter times. Still voted hot. Might be good for someone who needs it any

There was some June dates too, worth scrolling through calendar for availability.

how can they get away with just changing flight schedule without any recompense?

Always two sides to every story, Dubai’s version is he was twerking on him! Someone is lying but obviously we have to believe the British media

Be funny if the urine literally got dumped out of the aeroplane mid-flight. 'Wizzair'

Could do a dirt cheap 3 in 1 trip to Asia. See beautiful Transylvania in Romania, then fly to Dubai and connect to flights to Malaysia / Thailand / Philippines etc for some cheap sunshine and food.

Actually Cebu usually have cheap flights to Manila starting at £40 one way. Which is mental considering the distance but I've done this before and it's fine if you have movies, books etc to entertain yourself!

Hot UK! Deals UK!

The place is a joke. Crazy laws like the guy who was thrown in jail because he brushed up against someone else.

Not exactly a holiday when you are treading on egg shells all the time to comply with their crazy rules.

If it was genuinely like that, there would be no tourist industry over there.

I've been many times and never had any issues what so ever with the law.
Just need to remember you are not in the UK or some Spanish resort and you'll be fine.

Hope they don’t get bankrupt before my flight

Ah you beat me to it.
Agree with everything you've stated there.
I've been several times and never seen or experienced any trouble.
If the authorities were as bad and indiscriminate as Daily Mail readers would have you believe, then nobody would be going there anymore and their tourist industry would have died off.

It's mostly people who seem to think they can act however they wish in someone else's country and then the right wing media picking up on it causing the rest of the right wing sheep to bleat about foreigners and Muslims and all that jazz.

Yeah, lots of countries have crazy laws. Like the gun laws in USA, the no-minimum laws for marriage in Saudi Arabia. Strangely, Britain even has a law to say it's illegal to get drunk in a pub (source: my mother in law owns a pub, apparently it's in a licencing act from the 1800's).

Reminds me of the stupid tourists who decided to pose naked on the top of sacred mountain in Malaysia.

We can debate the countries laws all day, but this is a deal site ;-) Follow the rules and safe travels.

Not even brush, gently warn them they're close, by touching them on the side. The same that happens in every day life in nearly every country in the world. But these countries don't have common sense nor do they understand human nature.

I agree with some of that, but really this place takes it to the extreme. I mean, 5 days in one of their jails for brushing up against someone.

Like I said, would you really be able to feel completely relaxed here? I think not.

It’s not quite as black and white as that. Take an unmarried couple. In Dubai it is illegal for an unmarried couple to live together. When it comes to hotel rooms the question doesn’t get asked and in general there’s no issue. Upset a local for totally different issue and you could well find yourselves with sharing a hotel room illegally.

Whilst i cringe when when I see Brits abroad behaving in a scummy manner, I for one could not be bothered to spend my hard earned cash in a country like Dubai with such grey areas of do’s and don’ts. It’s a big world out there.

Or for people like me who tend to fly from other European destinations long haul and combine it with a city break somewhere! I once went to China via Lapland

Good news for pimp gangs in Romania.

Totally agree with u, been there no problem at all, it's about respect, unfortunately lot of ppl can't do that

There are several hundred cases like this every year and mostly you don't hear about it. It's only when it hits the press do the dubai authorities care to protect there tourism. They know given western countries are now moving away from oil there economic future depends on tourist. Having been there and had a chat with the local non Arab workers the human rights is terrible. Alot of worker are trapped. It's basically a country built by foreign workers who are abused and treated really badly and people go to the resorts to continue to support the abuse. People either don't care or play the ignorance card. I for one could never go back and support such a regime.

Kind of agree on lots of different points made by different posters.
