Return flights to Majorca from Newcastle ryanair during school Easter holidays

Found 12th Jan 2017
Several cheap return flights to sunshine in Majorca, from Newcastle, I booked mon 10th April to Easter Monday 17th April for 2 adults 3 kids for 333 but since that it's gone up but still cheap for kids Easter holls. The return flight for the above date is now £77.98, Sun 9th - Sun 16th is similar price too.

I booked mine via travel republic and found the hyb eurocal hotel all inclusive for £685 for five of us for the week. So basically just over £200 each for flight and all inclusive for the week. I booked shared transfers through hoppa for £55 ish, via top cash back, 5 star insurance from more than through compare the market for £27 ish then I get the cinema offer for a year too. Parking through holiday extras app paid just over £30 by Amex to get 15% credit to Amex card on current offer. Negatives are the hotel is quite a way on a shared shuttle but taxis are quite a lot more but for a family of five it's sometimes more expensive as normal cabs take 4. The flight home is an early one which is also a negative as is the extra 1 hour drive to Newcastle compared to other airports nearer me. But overall a cheap all inclusive Easter family holiday abroad for 5 people about £1150 everything included.

I booked flight and accommodation through travel republic for ATOL cover but you can book all separate and email hotel to save about 10% on accommodation but no ATOL cover

Does the price include luggage or do you have to add that on later in the process of booking?
Luggage above 10kg each or above ryanair cabin luggage size regulations has to be added on later approx £50 per case for return flight but not really needed, my tip is to use a hold-all as cabin cases can weigh up to 3kg before you start filling them. If I remember correctly each person can take 10x100ml fluids in hand luggage in clear bottles too, the government website has a link on travelling abroad which is good info to read about taking fluids
Luggage can be added at the time of booking through travel republic or later on once they confirm booking, they send you an email link and booking ref to access flights direct via ryanair. You can then add this to your own my ryanair account so you can check in and do digital boarding passes on phone etc while abroad
Also, hotel is 3 star and has decent reviews on trip advisor, it's 3 1/2 on trip advisor so looks ok from what I've read
Great post. Thanks op
Could be lucky with the weather or it could rain so somthing to consider first before you book canary island are sunny.
I'd say other way round, I'd be unlucky to get a lot of rain over several days or a week, average 45mm in total for April, plenty of sunshine average highs of 20 degrees in days. Obviously canaries are hotter but flights are at least double price nearly triple for school holls

You could get lucky with the weather or not

When the kids were small we went to Majorca\Menorca every year at end of May half term, the weather was unsettled with rain etc and not that warm even at that time of year, I think it was hot one of the years that we went

Kids got in the pool with wetsuits on

Got to beat being here though, sure some years they get lovely weather

says dosnt fly to majorca

Great price - hot
Thanks a lot Mark, booked this morning 9th April for a week from the toon. Did it all through travel republic, would have saved £75 with no atol.
Booked the Hotel Hawaii at palma nova, just closer to the airport for us, it has 4.5 with trip advisor. Cost with transfers for family of 4 was just over £1500. Looked at the May holiday £3100, yes better weather but we may get lucky. Thanks again for your excellent post.
Update, cancelled holiday with travel republic as they have not booked flights. They say within 12 hours bookings are made, it was 60hrs and 6 pbone calls of them lying. Still they did not book, would not use this bunch of lying morons again. Will book a holiday myself much easier, cant believe how bad they are.
