hot, humid, lots of traffic, plenty of mosquitos, torrential rain, more traffic, cheap food, malls everywhere, Kidzania
Only working up till 21st July as OP mentions
you can purchase directly from their website as well. so it may just be a promotional price
From KL you can fly budget to Singapore, Bali, Thailand, etc. Just look up Air Asia to start with. Love Malaysia Airline. Would be all over this but already going in August.
What are rough prices and flight times to Bali please...from KL

It depends massively where you go and what you want - there are a couple of beach places but it's more about the scenery. It's a lot more expensive than neighbouring countries and with a large Muslim population, alcohol is a lot more expensive and harder to get than elsewhere in SE Asia. In our summer it's gonna be hot and wet - not exactly ideal weather for a beach holiday!

I might look into it for a one way at this price, and get a flight out to Indonesia where the weather is a bit better in the summer months.

Cracking spot OP, keep it up!

yeah but can't you look the prices up for them, save them having to do it
isnt this the airline that got shot down/dissaperead off the radar? good deal if you looking to get shot down or abducted by aliens etc

and i thought i was gonna get some likes
Wonder that would be honoured. That is crazy prize if they do, usually the cheapest is around £500.
I hope they dont put the price above safety......

No, that's not included in this package.
Hey, any good prices to go anywhere in Asia after 22nd July coming back anytime but before September, pleaseee
Malaysia Airlines...
Getting similar prices via Skyscanner too.
So it must be a Malaysian Airlines promotion thing?

Hot for sure.
Anyone wanna go with me? Hot, gay male here
Probably worth pointing out to people that haven't been this time of year - it's the "oh my god, I can't take this heat, kill me now" season.
Don't see any direct flights. All have 1 stop to Penang. Direct flights are to Kuala Lumpur

I went to Malaysia at the start of the year and enjoyed it immensely. However, I feel that 2/3 days in KL is all that your really need. It's a big city that has undergone massive redevelopment and as a result has lots of shiny skyscrapers and shopping malls which make it feel a bit sterile. For me the city was short on attractions although that's not to say there aren't things to do. The old Colonial areas are interesting such as Merdeka Sqaure and Chinatown is worth a visit as well as the bird park. The hotels seem to be mainly large soulless chains but the Majestic Hotel stands out from the crowd as it has some character. As others have mentioned the climate is hot and humid which makes walking around for any long periods uncomfortable. My advice would be to visit here for a few days and then move on to somewhere else by car or plane. Internal flights are very cheap! Malacca and the Cameron Highlands are a few hours away by car and Penang and Langkawi are short flights away. All are highly recommended!

Excellent! Wait a sec, my kids are at school! Damn

Better leave them there then, no way would you want to take them out of the ultra high level of education our children are given nowadays.
Been watching watching John Torode's Malaysian Adventure on Good Food channel - seems like a great country to visit with some amazing cultures & cuisines co-existing.

But I don't think I could take the heat & humidity of that region - even at this stunning price!

So tempting to go!
Damn its during ramadhan or would have definitely booked! Went a couple of years ago into KL then took Air Asia out to Singapore, then one way to Bali then back to KL. Amazing time!

We went to Borneo in 2014 - it's an amazing place. So much to see and do but do your research.
We stayed in Kota Kinabalu for a few days which is the capital. It's not massive but the sunset is amazing, the food is cheapens the people seem genuinely pleased to see you and speak to you.
There is also a nice island resort - Gaya island- really good snorkelling and just generally relaxing.
We climbed mount Kinabalu which was hard going, went to stay in the jungle for two nights in a wooden hut, river safaris, jungle trecking. The orangutan rehab centres were great but the thrill of trying to spot one in the wild was great- we didn't but it depends on the fruiting season and luck we were told. Jungle elephants, monkeys lizards everywhere.
We also managed to stay in one of the national parks for two nights. It's far less developed/ busy/ touristy than Vietnam that we visited in April this year. Didn't compare to Borneo
I cant find this price after 21st July as summer holiday starts 21/07 for kids
I can't find this price from 9th July onwards
worth mentioning that this is in monsoon season, so expect lots of rain
School term and ramdhan- which explains the price- still really cheap.,
Ramadan is 7th June for 30days. I'm sure you can still visit and have fun. business is business
Unreal prices!!!
Not long been back did kuala lumpa Singapore then Bali have to say fav holiday 2 nights kl 3 in Singapore 5 in Bali

what would be the cheapest way of travel to Indonesia? I was looking one way to Kuala and then come back from Thailand.
