This fare is for hand baggage only. £30 extra if you require this. So tempted to vote this cold just because I hate Ryanair but I'm not going to.

I did though.

I've done this flight before but from Bristol to Marrakech about 2 years ago. We paid £40 return pp including one checked bag and credit card fees.

It was our first RyanAir experience and was just (just!) about bearable, 4hr flight, not very comfy seats, 6am departure on the way in but for the price you can't complain! I don't think I'd ever do a trans-atlantic on RyanAir if they do decide to start doing them though ...

Marrakech is very nice, we stayed in a really nice Riad (super service, Riad 34 if anyone's interested). I can highly recommend Essourera too (it's about £6 return on a 2hr coach) for the fresh fish! We also did a mountain tour which was great.

We did that flight with no checked bags and when Electron card was free. I think it ended up a tenner each way - or was it return ?

As you say you can only smile at the people who want to pay so much more to avoid Ryanair's basic but great service. More of a problem was Moroccan immigration/emigration and money launder^h^h^h exchange. But Marrakech was so worth it. That's what I love about Ryanair - you go to places you otherwise couldn't afford or taking a risk going somewhere you had never heard of and finding them wonderful. Well apart from Prestwick

My best was Salzburg, Genoa and Tarragona (Reus) for 2p return each ... how hot was that?

HMG's passenger taxes mean we will never see those again and perhaps good job too. Otherwise I would have been personally responsible for an extra degree of global warming methinks!

I guess the unrest/riots would just about be starting up in Morroco in March.

Was just about to say that myself.
A lot of North Africa is going to follow Tunisia and Egypt's path.

What and open a Macdonalds in every high street? viva the western ways

Hot £50 Return flights to morocco

Good find OP ;-)

I didn't even know they flew there, I thought it was just western Europe, but maybe MOL is expanding his business model to include places outside Europe.

Remember not to put more than 10kg of kif in your hand luggage.

Morocco is one of the most stable environments in the North African peninsula. Unless you're planning of travelling to Niger/Mauritania it's safe to say you'll be fine, as will Morocco.

I wish people wouldn't make inflammatory statements with no evidence to back it up!

is it me or are holidays to north Africa quite cheap recently

Go, and once you've been you'll understand why. ;-)

But don't arabs vaguely hate us?

Great offer, but I think the revolution should be taking place around that time.

i heard hotel transfers are made using tanks

I wouldn't go to Morocco if Ryanair paid me £50.
Done a lot of travelling and found Morocco and Tunisia horrible places.

Hardly surprising.
Until last week we were propping up a chap called Mubarak, this week he's been uncovered as a thief with $70 Billion in his Swiss bank account!

That tells us more about the kind of "traveller" you are rather than what Morocco or Tunisia are really like.

I think this is a disgusting attitude towards African countries, how you can group them all together as one I have no idea. You clearly don't have never travelled around Africa.

The cost of flights to Africa are, lets say, a bit pricier than your annual trip to Magaluf.

No your thinking of 90% of the worlds population, and rightly so imo !!

Where did u get this nonsense from? Morocco is a monarchy so very different to tunisia and egypt.

went to marrakech last september, stayed in a riad in the medina (old town). not much more than a few days/nights entertainment. some nice sights but away from the main square you get pestered a lot, its sad to say but be careful of people who appear approachable and offer to help. it all leads to a demad for cash (the big one is offering to walk you a hundred or so yards to x place, on arival you will be asked for cash, if you dont pay then you'll get sworn at etc, nothing worse mind) . went during ramadan to be fair may be different at other times.

took a day trip to the atlas mountains in a private cab, very beautiful and you can ask the driver to pull over away from various tourist stops.

didnt see the coast but thats supposed to be calmer.

I've been to Marrakesh (on Easyjet - all fine) and really enjoyed it, on the whole. Very friendly. The only hassle was in the Medina, with people hassling you to sit at a restaurant. Apart from that, it was good fun. Yes, it is different but you are in a different continent - what would you expect? Go with an open mind and you'll enjoy it. You may find that you don't (as I did with India) but then it is still an experience.

I found that the answer to being pestered when I was in Tangier was to pretend I was German. On the whole the touts seemed to be fluent in Arabic, English, French and Spanish, but lacking German. I just said "Bitte Schön" whenever a tout approached me, and they usually just shrugged and walked away.

Not if you can get someone to carry you to the airport.

Morocco is a great place to visit. Just don't expect it to be like Magaluf or Tenerife.

You forgot to mention the Henna Syringes they try to force the females to use.

And the 'Av a go' tour guides...in the general populous that you ask for a direction and they try to take you there.

And the snake charmers, their so irritating.

I liked Marrakesh overall, but the people there are just daylight thieves if your new there.
