Nice
Don't book Ryanair through Kayak, book direct with Ryanair.

Kayak keep all the check-in details so you can't use the Ryanair app for your boarding cards, you'll also miss out on all info emails about baggage allowances and check-in times.

I really can't imagine why anyone would choose to book through a third party
screen scraper company that has no relationship to the Airline they'll be flying with.

Obviously their are loads of choices of rentals in Nice it was just an observation that we rented an apartment via azur services who have the same apartments on Airbnb but they said that if you rent direct, it’s cheaper because they don’t have to pay extra to them... I’m sure it true for many rentals in Nice too.
one other noteworthy thing is that Nice has a new tram from the airport to the old town and port and costs only 1,50€ which seems incredible

Looks quite mild weather to
Stunning price, voted hot! The flight times are OK too.
Only 2 seats left at this price, so better hurry up.

Great price... same as last February
Stayed with azur-services.com apartments online but local service... the apartments are on Airbnb but cheaper if rented directly

At the higher end cost for holiday rental, you have companies like nicePebbles who are a UK company they have a large number of rentals some more opulent with prices on a like for like higher, Maybe about +40% on what Azur service charge.
At the true luxury end there are 5* hotels on the promenade no gites anywhere close to the city that I can recall though... I’m visiting again and I’ll look to stay old town some area’s on the castle hill edge towards providence and Garabaldi are much quieter in main season and all are pretty safe with extensive cctv that gives you peace of mind..
Hope this helps

Heat added. Good find.
Only issue is it cost more money to drive to the airport and park than actually flying out.

It is applicable for specific search criteria as mentioned below:
Depart from: London (STN)
Arrive at: Nice (NCE)
Depart Date: 22-Feb
Arrival Date: 29-Feb
Flight: RYANAIR
why would anyone want to travel on Ryanair though - horrendous, however cheap it is

Same for me, I live closer to LHR and I can still get return flights to Nice for around £80 during this period with BA or £60 from Luton with easyJet.... so maybe 1 or 2 less beers at Wayne’s bar to pay for the price difference!
Will their biscuit factory be open at this time of year?
coronavirus...
Nice one.
There's some very good flights to Geneva 25 pounds each way from Birmingham in Feb for Skiers I assume .
Cool Price ! For those wanting to rent a place, you can go and have a look on Leboncoin (in one word) which is the French equivalent of Gumtree to find place for holiday rents enjoy my region, people!

They're fine.

At least their seats don't recline so you don't get some ignorant barsteward dropping his head in your lap 5 minutes into a 1 hour flight!

Rant over, pet hate of mine.

Many book through the agent because of cashback available from Quidco and Topcashback. But I agree prefer to boom direct with Ryanair. 🏼
Even cheaper and better if you book 2 singles direct, cos Nice - Stansted cost as little as 4.99 euros

I travel to Nice very often for holidays. I almost always use Airbnb. Very cheap car rental through priceline.com if you use a us VPN, especially if you use autoslash.com. Plenty to do there, and further up the mountains or further out.

If there are any issues Ryanair will want your booking email and number, but you won't have them, because Kayak won't supply those details.

Kayak check you in, and then send the boarding card by email, often only 12 hours before the flight, if the email hasn't arrived you'll just have to sit and sweat and hope that it eventually arrives.

Remember that Ryanair have no relationship with Kayak.

Oh ok, I have never actually booked a Ryanair flight through kayak so I didn't know that... Good to know, cheers! 🏼 🏼 🏼
Awww if this was a week earlier the heat would've reached quadruple figures - it is just missing out on half term
Ryanair? I'd rather walk
My neighbour booked Ryanair through Kayak, she asked me to help her check-in, that's when I found out that she couldn't.

She just had a nerve-wracking wait for Kayak to send her the boarding cards, which arrived one at a time with a few hours in-between.

Then she had to get her printer working at 23:00, when she had to be at the airport at 06:00 the next morning.

That's a very fair point, I booked a break through lastminute.Com for new year but made an error on one of the names and it was impossible to correct it, flybe wouldn't talk to me about the booking because lastminute 'owned' the booking.
Lastminute.com wanted to charge me €27 to correct the booking but then they didn't manage to correct it with flybe anyway. It was all very stressful and had to leave it to chance and turn up extra early at the airport to sort it out on the day of the flight.
As it turned out a misspelt name and incorrect date of birth didn't matter!
I did get the €27 back from lastminute.com but it's a lesson learnt.

Sorry to hear that, good that it ended well, but who needs the stress of booking through a company that has no relationship with the airline.

Lesson is to always book directly with the airline.
Was in Nice last year. Great place to visit. Airport is practically on the beach. Easy to travel around. Cheap tram and buses. Go. It's a great place to visit. Eating out can be expensive but the food is fabulous. We rented an apartment so ate in half the time. Will go back in a flash.
