Update 20/3 - Now flights to Orlando / Cuba / Mexico / Goa & more for £299

http://i.imgur.com/FrSCbYv.png

Okay, so there's some really decent prices for return flights at the moment. Returns to Orlando at £299 is an ace price and really good to see back again. There's also loads of other flights at £49-59 return per person that are definitely note worthy. Some seats are going super fast though, with just a few left. So might want to get on them as soon as you can.

Think it lets you search 3 months in advance, so I always use that option and select all the airports that are applicable. It SHOULD give you all of the prices available at the time.

Madeira isn't really Portugal, is over 1000km across the sea

how are u getting these? i click on get deal, go to thomson site and i dont see any option to search via any airport for up to 93 days at a time....?

I just tried your link but your only flexibility is a set date plus/minus 3 days. Can anyone link to the 93 day search because I cannot find it either?

Got it now. If you select flights from the top menu it takes you through that way.
Looks like most of the cheapies are for March.

Kayak and Momondo are good, they do combinations of different airlines for outward and return flights, but they don't seem to check the charter airlines such as Thomas Cook, Thompson etc, but TravelSupermarket does. MoneySavingExpert has a good guide to getting cheap flights too. Otherwise check out your preferred airport's list of operating airlines with destinations and go through each one individually.

Not cheap at all. Try Kayak, Skyscanner, momondo, or try EasyJet , Ryanair , jet 2, direct on the websites.

bear in mind thomson have a ridiculous hang luggage allowance of 6kg and charge stupid money for a suitcase! oO

thanks to share us with rates thanks once again cheers mate

nice find

Used to be about ~£25-30 for return flights to Spain prior to brexit.

In fact, once I booked return flight to Spain (Madrid) with easyjet about 3/4 years ago for only £19!

Madeira is Portugal. At least that's what my passport states!

I flew to barcelona recently £20 each way from Stansted and could have had it cheaper if didn't want to fly are decent times. There are cheap flights out there, brexit is a red herring!!

Can anyone give me Florida advice, based on 2 adults and a 3 year old, what would be an ideal 14 day itinerary?

Cheers,

James

But it's still part of Portugal.
But yes, it's a bit misleading

I would definitely only do Disney, buy the full Disney ticket that gives you entry to the Waterparks too. Stay in a Disney hotel - more expensive but probably more convenient and take the holiday slowly by going to parks for a few hours in the morning and sunbath in hotel pool in the afternoon. Lots of people try to do too much and need another holiday when they return exhausted! The trick is to treat it like a relaxing holiday and have some rest time. Don't be too organised with a rigid schedule that you have to stick to. It is the best holiday ever if you do it right. As your child is so little you can return to do universal studios and discovery cove in the next few years. Also if you stay in a Disney hotel you won't have to drive as there are all the shuttles to the parks. This takes the pressure off!

Wow, Great Job

Booked 3 tickets for 897! Sanford is a much easier airport to get in out of than MCO.
Super cheap and unlike Norwegian includes food/drinks.
Late April/Early may is a great time to be in FL

I agree Mozart - although we all know it's part of the Portuguese territory, Thomson should make it clear they are referring to Madeira... I call it out as clickbait: they know full well thawe would think they mean Portugal rather than Madeira! I spent ages trying to find ANYTHING on mainland Portugal before realising they'd advertised hotels and flights ONLY for Maderia.

Thanks to the OP for posting tho'. I'm now looking at Cuba deals instead, so the heads-up for a white-sand Caribbean holiday instead of Portugal is much appreciated :^).

Best wishes

If anyone has info' on cheap mainland Portugal beach front holiday deals (in case my search for good Thomson's Cuba deals turn out to be a company stitch-up too :^), I'd be very grateful to hear.
Thanks

15 April to 30th April, Goa, £343.

Seriously cheap price. There are hardly any direct flights and on these dates usually cost over a grand!

Edit/ They charge for fecking checked in baggage! £60 for 20kg, £80 for 25. Still cheaper than other flights though.
