Bought for one of for my wife's Christmas prezzies can't think of anything for this year after getting her an iPad Air last year ! (Everything else is going to be a let down !)
yh just saw it, but they are selling for £20+ and i guess for a tenner you can't go wrong. Sound quality will be better if i plug it into my speakers, basically a cheap DAB receiver.
the reviews are very poor for this.

Mixed reviews for it on Amazon....http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00LGV03PO

Still less than half the price at Amazon, so happy to accept some shortfalls for the price. Ordered two

Rarely anything else TBH - always mixed reviews. Par for the course, really
Got 3 as xmas prezzies thanks
I guess if you are close to a broadcast antenna, this will be fine.
Cant comment on the product but just want to warn people that vodafones ebay store are useless.

I was in the market for a portable DAB radio to listen to the footy on a matchday but the kitsound radio that arrived had a broken ariel. Ive gone through the refund/exchange process and havent heard a dickie bird. Just as bad as there phone shops in terms of service.
would lyca radio work on this ????
is it better than this one

Then buy her something she will definitely use regularly such as an ironing board X)
AA batteries are a bit of a risk if you're using it as an alarm clock.
Does it come with a power adapter?
*yes -
Box Contains
- KS Revive DAB radio

Or save yourself a tenner. Download tunein radio for your smartphone, and listen to radio from all over the UK and globally and use your phones built in alarm.

ok for townies, but in the country can't always get DATA
or WiFi.
This is one of those annoying deals where I'm tempted even though I don't need one. Radios are useless to me unless they have DAB due to the stations I listen to, so I may just buy this as a travel radio. Hmmm...

Heat added.

You can't get Wi-Fi at home because you live in the country?
The Pixi Minis are badly made. Treacle slow reaction volume controls and other issues. I would not give those to OAPs. Confusing. But the bigger brother here might be more solid.
cant go wrong for a tenner!
Thanks OP X)

And i doubt you'd get DAB reception either if you lived in the middle of nowhere
Worth a punt at the price so bought two, if they are crap then that is the in-laws sorted for Christmas.

Win win really.

Thanks OP and heat added.

Maybe an electric tin opener would go down well also

If it was in large digits I would be all over this (being so myopic I need an alarm clock with a big display).
Ordered 2 - one for me, one for the stepdad. Only after using it as a DAB radio/receiver for my sound system to which it seams good at ( alarm clock function being main issue it seams ) really can't argue at the price - only complete chinese DAB radios being cheaper and kitsound do make some fantastic audio equipment for the price - i have a boomdock which is rated 5/5 by a lot of audio websites. Shame they didn't quite nail their usual success formula with this revive - probably why they are so cheap.
