I'm a big fan of Revolut and also a premium member mainly to support them. Highly recommended.

I used my cards overseas a lot and saved a lot of money. You also save loads if you send money overseas.

It's worth mentioning though that they don't have a banking license yet, so your deposits are NOT protected by the Financial Services Authority (or whatever they're called now). Revolut applied for a European Banking License but didn't get it yet.

On the app goto the card section and on there you can choose your card.
I can see a banner on the app saying order a card for free until the 9th March but when I click through I can't see how to order it

Support them!!!!?

They are a profit making financial company operated by Russians from London that outsource the jobs to freelancers who bid the lowest.

Nothing wrong with that but noting right with it either.
If you have a virtual account get them to terminate it and then open a physical one for free and money in your account stays there

Yes I just asked the same on chat. I have my existing virtual card details saved on a few other accounts such as my paypal and my amazon accounts. So not sure if I wanna do this yet.

This is what my email says

"How about a free card for your friends, family and colleagues? 💳"
So it's not a free card for myself then?

Thanks OP. Signed into the app and the free card offer was there on the home screen. I couldn't add the card for free so I deleted my virtual card and then added a physical card, which showed no charge.

I didn't have my virtual card linked to anything so deleting it didn't bother me. Cheers

So I need to remove virtual before offered free physical card?
I live in Spain. Would they send it to me here or do I need to have it sent to a UK address?
This company really very good

Well I had the offer show up when I just had the virtual card on my account. Clicking on the offer allowed me to add a 'spare card' but it would have charged me. Deleting the virtual card allowed me to order a physical card with no charge

You probably have one already? If not get in touch with support via chat function and request one. See comment above

I assume this should give some comfort though (according to their FAQ):

Client funds are stored under a segregated account at Lloyds. As an FCA authorised institution, your funds are safeguarded as per FCA requirements, the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 and the Payment Services Regulations 2017. In the event of an insolvency, you will be able to claim your funds from this segregated account and your claim will be paid above all other creditors.

All your card transactions are processed by the Mastercard or Visa network and are protected by Mastercard or Visa rules.

What did you try chat for? It's fairly simple to sort yourself. Send the link for other folk to get the free card offer. Or, if you already have a virtual card, cancel, and order a physical for free
Used them a lot works well, but if you have issues customer service can take 24 hours to respond to questions on live chat!
Just stay away from their cryptocurrency offers. They will not let you move it to or from a different wallet!!
Quote from their FAQs: "We do not support the transfer of cryptocurrency interest to an external wallet."

If you don't own the keys you don't own the coins! Remember that!
Stay safe and good luck!

Don't want to cancel the virtual card, I want both
For anyone who already has a virtual account, simply remove it using the 3 dots on the top right corner of the card image. (Don't worry you won't lose any money you have in your account, the money is tied to your account not the card). Then create a new physical card!

PS: If you are not on the premium subscription then you can only pick the first card which is standard.

Because if it's anything like the Subway App, all it takes is one little App update and that's your access killed.
Excuse my ignorance but is there any real difference to a Monzo card? (I'm thinking as to whether I need both)

No get the physical card ..you can also use it as virtual

Don't want to cancel the virtual card, I want both

I just went from the link on the homescreen of the app, didn't click the option to link it to my virtual account, and it went all the way through with no charges at all. In my accounts I now have a physical card, with a new number, and the same virtual one I've had for years.

No need to close your existing one
all sorted, got both cards, customer services waived the fee
Good luck upgrading your limits easier to just pay fees with someone else

Monzo are actually issuing cards? I thought they ran an indefinite queue that leads to another queue that leads to another queue...
