Never stopped doing them at my local, always available
Not seen the rhubarb one in there before, thanks.
Personally they taste awful as a comparison to Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger gin
These are only 20% compared to the far superior Whitley Neill range which is 43%.

Thanks, I was tempted to try this as I liked the WN version but think I'll give it a miss.
GIN LIQUER... not Gin... Gin liqueur is sugar syrup with a splash of Gin.... Avoid...
Are these not supposed to be an alternative to Edinburgh Gin liqueur, rather than Whitley Neil?

Is this definitely 70cl? Sure when I bought it last it was 50.
Does the Scottish Raspberry also contain ginger?

Yeah this is right
Not in our store so rang. They said Thursday
Bought the raspberry at Christmas , nice in prosecco
Does anyone reccomend any specific tonics to drink with the Raspberry or is it better drinking straight. The missus has tried it straight and with a tonic and prefers it on its own. Just looking to people's opinions. Cheers

Fentlemans rose lemonade.
picked them both up before christmas when stocks were limited and wasn't impressed, neither were my relatives wanting them - i almost wonder if the stock shortage was engineered to sell a £12 bottle of 20% liqueur.

lidl are currently selling elderflower and rhubarb&ginger cordials 50cl (label says 10 servings a bottle, dilute 1to4) for £2, i'd assume one of those plus a tenner bottle of their gin provides same results with diluutiuon to taste.
It’s a Gin Liqueur . 20% as oppose to 40% that gin usually is. Why bother. About as special as a bottle of Apple Sourz
None in my local
Nor mine

This one and edinburgh are more liquor gins so best drunk straight. Very similar to chambourd. the Whitley Neil's are a completely different ball game as I made the mistake of trying that straight and it was like drinking straight gin firewater. I found it tasted best with a non flavoured tonic water as had the best flavour. I did try it with flavoured tonics like lemon but found the flavours didn't mix well with the raspberry. I think rile of thumb any gin around 20% straight over ice and anything over 40% with tonic...

Because not all of us are alcoholics that require our alcohol to have the ability to strip paint?
Had the raspberry at xmas and thought it was unpleasant. It just tasted like a cheap low alcohol shot (which I guess it is).
I mix 1 part Edinburgh Rhubard and 1 part plain gin with plain tonic water. I prefer the Edinburgh Gin to the Whitleys. Willing to give this a try, cheers.
Rhubarb version is syrupy sweet and nowt like gin. Alright served chilled as a shot .

This is the key fact. It's technically not gin if the percentage is that low.

Supposed to drink these straight, its not gin, its only gin liqueur
Not quite sure this is a deal though. It’s always that price. I bought some at Christmas but didn’t care for it tbh.

Fair point, but the "deal" is that they are back in stock. I personally welcome posts like this..

The rhubarb and ginger liqueur mixed with normal gin and mixer is delicious. Up until trying this I had never enjoyed a Gin before but I love it now!
Been in 3 Lidl’s. Nothing. They don’t know anything about this coming back
