I know Ribble often have deals but I've not seen one this cheap in a long time. I bought this great bike with a very similar spec (slightly better wheels) a couple of years ago for more like £1400

i'm sure this is a good deal, but feel most people (general public) would be put off by a bike costing anywhere near 1000 quid
mind posting the parts list that?

But that's the point of Hot UK Deals... It's not most people UK deals... If something is a deal it comes here, it's irrelevant if you can or can't afford it or want it or don't want it... A deal is a deal surely?!

105? …105? hahahttps://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/another-ribble-bike-sale-999-for-the-sportive-racing-ultegra-2767147

Not as a high end a frame tho both are pretty awesome deals compared to the rest of the market

And this is why I ignore the heat number on this site now.
Terrible gearing. Minimum speed of 8 or 9 mph, max speed of 45 mph. Who is buying rubbish like this? If you have even a moderate hill, you'll spend more time walking beside the bike rather than riding it.

Costs nothing to change to a compact and 11-28 cassette if you are not fit enough to ride this.

Can you link me the compact and cassette for £0 ? And link me someone fit enough to push 1000 watts up a hill for a couple of minutes?

These gears are terrible, bike manufacturers pushing out terrible gearing to clueless noobs.

You can change to a 50/34 chainset and 11-28 cassette by changing the options. It's also free to do so.

Yeah, they are the ones that go from 9pm to 45mph. Useless.

Eh?

As stated above change to 50/34 and 11-28 in the options. If that gearing doesn't work for you then perhaps you should have a look for a different kind of bike.

As I already replied, 50/34 and 11-28 is in the 8 or 9mph to 45+ mph range. This bike doesn't really work for anyone, unless you live in a totally flat area.

Stop trolling. 9 mph with 34-28 gearing would be at 95 rpm. Down to 60 rpm and speed drops to 5.7 mph.

Exactly how slowly do you want to ride?

60rpm? Why would you pedal that slowly. No reason to have anything less than 32t on the cassette.
