Hmmmmmm, dubious RRP. Look quite nice though.

Anyone got them?

Would be interesting to see a piccie of the knives themselves, interesting concept, big saving on the rrp so i am voting hot.

I know what you mean with the rrp, but some places are actually selling this set at near or even for the rrp!!!

I think you do have to pay a bit extra for a good knife tbh, i was reading a guide here

wisegeek.com/wha…htm

Gives some info on what to look for in good kitchen knives (if your interested)

i quite like the richardson sheffield excels with the titanium edge lol
they were about 3 quid a pop out of woolies
these seem sturdier and more comfy - if as good a knife performance wise as those but with better comfort and a decent looking block should be a good buy

My little boy has a Richardson Sheffield kids cutlery set and 3 years on, its still as good as new so can fully recommend their products.

According to one cookery website, this set was picked as 1 of 6 of the best by the Daily Mail.

Will be ordering myself a set I think!

I have a set of Richardson knives I ordered off Amazon about a year ago, they are class. I've just ordered this set for a gift.

Great price for a block of quality knives no doubt, but why would anyone want an interchangeable colour insert for a knife set?

" The interchangeable colour inserts, allow you to match your knife block to either your kitchen or your mood " red when butchering a slab of meat ... blue for gutting a fish

lol - £6 a knife is very cheap

a top knife would be nearer the £100 mark (e.g. Global)

I wonder if they are still made in Sheffield.
