These are pretty close to real sausages. Certainly enough to fool my children as I moved to a mainly plant based diet.

Amazing cooked in air fryer but even better in frying pan with a small amount of butter!

Meat free, not too far away on the meat register from their normal ones then!

They are not bad at all. Bit like cheap pork sausages. But quite far removed from say Jolly Hog ‘Proper Porker’. Good compromise though.

These are very good, their 'meatballs' are great too. I think they taste a lot like their meat ones (from memory) but that's not to say they taste like pork of course as I don't recall the Richmonds ever tasting like pork

Having endured Richmond sausages, I don't think these could taste any worse

As far as meat free sausage goes these aren't too shabby. My missus prefers these to most other brands, but she does recommend tesco herby bangers

Be interesting to see what the beyond meat sausages are like. They don’t look great in the packet but the Beyond meat burgers are pretty close to the real thing I found.

These are fab options if you have high cholesterol like me.
Almost as good as meat sausages.

Best meat free sausages ever!!

Better for the environment,no cholestrol and no death,win win win

You can't buy a better meat free sausage than these. The meat free bacon range is ace too, I light fry in some chilli oil and they taste lovely.

They should be banned from calling them sausages if they have no meat in them.
It is bad enough with quorn. I bought some reduced items in Tescos thinking they contained meat, when home I discovered they didn't. The packaging was not clear either. From memory it was something like their plant food range!

Same, they look unappealing but the burgers are incredible! I'll give them a go soon, I think Tescos had some at some point

Bore off already

I'm a meat eater but I must admit these are on par with the normal Richmond pork sausages.

This isn't saying much as Richmond sausages aren't exactly the best are they but they taste ok

They have the snap of a real sausage, which you miss in most vegetarian and vegan sausages. The texture is close to that of a pork Richmond sausage (so not as firm as high meat content sausages and not sloppy like high fat content sausages) and funnily enough they taste like Richmond sausages!

We had the Plant Chef ones from Tesco over the weekend and they have a similar snap to the Richmond, and more of a Herby taste. I was sold!

Absolutely outrageous. I'm appalled. I bet plants don't even eat their range 😡

If I saw it in the reduced section, because of the word, "sausage " I would put it straight in the basket and I would expect it to contain meat?

When home I would discover it was made of leeks and cheese by some Welshman who could not cook and got the recipe wrong?

In Wales I wonder what their Welsh lamb is made of?
Mind you in Wales their rabbits too are made of cheese evidently? 😃
