Just a little tip for non riders, walk round to the big blue hotel on the morning and say you would like some free passes. They will print some off and you access the park just round the corner. Any questions say you have a reservation but can't check in yet! Worked for me

I haven't been there for a good few years. Is it still called the pepsi max

Just for the caption....

#notwhatshesaid :-)

I suppose 'ride the slightly-smaller-than-the-national-average' just doesn't have the same ring to it

I need to stop being honest. might get me more action.

I would actually buy the Daily Star again if they offered free tickets like they did about 12 - 15 years ago. I used to buy 4 papers daily for about 8 days & have enough tickets ( by using friends / family addresses ) to see all the Pleasure Beach shows & ride all the major rides ( probably until I felt sick X) ) . Used to have the time of my life doing that & pretty much always on my own.

if weather bad, most rides will be closed.

Ehm no mate, it's called The Big One.

We used to go to Blackpool when I was a child and I took my children there as well, but in the last 10-12 Years the place has gone right down hill. It is a favorite for Hen and Stag parties and the pools of vomit you see on the pavements says it all.
The majority of the sea front is lined with ripoff type businesses. The Pleasure beach itself showed what it is when it bought out the Rides/attractions at South-port and then shut them down so as to limit competition.
The Pleasure beach is just a money making machine that cares about only one thing and its not the customers, now they charge everyone, even if you are a Gran/Grandad taking a couple of toddlers in you have to pay an entrance fee. Don't try to take in your own refreshments as its not allowed, you have to pay their extortionate prices, there's no fun in the place any more, except for the owners who are laughing all the way to the bank.
