Was this a local discount?

i.e. was it in a reduced item section or on the shelf with a yellow mark down ticket?

None in our local Tesco although they did have a lot of other suncream brands reduced, but not much left.

If anyone sees any of the P20 at this I'd love them forever if they'd buy me a couple of bottles. I'll happily pay postage

calypso 20 daily is almose exactly the same stuff, we used both on our last holiday and there was no difference apart from the price, for 200ml p20 is about £20 calypso is £5 from home bargains for the same size and only needs to be applied once a day too!!

Yea I've used that one, I think the patent might have come to the end on the original P20. The only plus side to the newer formula is that it doesn't stain clothes and dries a bit quicker in my opinion (not really worth the extra £15)

You will be very lucky to get this.

I have never even seen any p20 in my local Tesco ever.

The Calypso version was £3 in Matalan last week....... I actually burned with the P20!

It was an price cut label (from 12 quid something) on the shelf and not just a reduced sticker on the bottle. In with all the other suncreams.

Interesting I read that someone above has never seen P20 in their Tesco's. Where I live it's kinda half way between two tesco's, I go to the other once quite a bit as well and have never seen it in there! Lucky I guess.

They also had Shockwaves volume hairspray full bottle for 56p which is also a good deal!

a lot of the sun creams are on a price cut at the mo in Tesco and have been for about a week now....just your luck as to whats left....i got Ambre Solaire factor 10 for £3.00 a bottle.

Best sun cream ever if you have a fair complexion. Excellent price.

Just a slight note of caution. I tried this stuff a few years ago after a friend recommended it. I paid £20 at the time. It seemed to work well at first but then i developed an awful itchy rash. It has never happened with any other product before or since so i would therefore never buy it again. Great price if it suits you however.

i used the Calypso one in Turkey this year and got burnt as it isn't waterproof

I have used it for about 20 years now without problems (back when you could only buy it in the airports) but my daughter developed the same kind of rash after only a few days, so it's hit and miss I guess.

The Calypso is cheap watery cr*p!

not in my opinion, it was EVER BIT as good as the p20 and we were in 40 plus heat, all fair skin and a child too. we had no probs at all - its very similar consistency as p20, but comes out a bit thicker, and we didnt need to re-apply after being in the water!

Calypso is excellent and super value for money, P20 is exactly the same, however both can cause sun burn if not appplied properly, off to Cyprus on the 20th with my Calypso !!!!!!!!!

was still plently of stock when i went back into Tesco's today - they've actually put more out!

The Calypso stuff is the same as P20 was all those years ago when it was only available in airports, if you don't apply it something like 1 and a half hours before going in the water it won't stay on... it takes a while to properly dry and bind to the skin.
