Riemann P20 - 200ml size - £12.49 in Savers.

Available in SPF 15 / 20 / 30 / 50+

Seems quite a bargain - remember the 100ml is roughly same price in Primark and other places.

Great post and perfect timing!!! For me this is best sun protection out there so will be stocking up before cocktail time! :O)

A good deal indeed. Saw them 2 days before in savers.

Is this better than piz buin?

yes

Heat for the price, and this is great sun protection, but I find it stains all my clothes yellow so I switched to Ultrasun.

Awesome, best sun protection out there. Literally hot!

Great deal.

Great sun protection that really does last all day. Only down side, as already mentioned is it does stain light coloured clothing, so i only use it in certain circumstances. Plus you go through a bottle quickly if using it every day.

Just to reinforce what others have said, this is great for all day protection, but it does stain clothes. also my kids don't like the "chemical" smell and oily feel.

We all prefer UltraSun which you can get at M&S and online.

Thanks op, off to Greece with me sack of euros next week so great timing.

check m&s for ultra sun, as many of you seem to recommend it. read info....no uvb protection at all?

Never tried the P20 stuff as always too expensive, normally go for the factor 15-20 all day Boots own brand, never burned once using it, although it does leave stains on white clothing/towels if they come into contact with the skin if you've not had it on long enough, usually wait 20-30 minutes before getting dressed

best sun protection there is...bar none.

UltraSun bottle says UVA and UVB, also noted on Amazon item description

superb stuff but beware if you shower before that whatever you use doesnt prevent P20 from sticking to skin. I did something similar (i think shower gel had silicon in it) and ended up like a red and white zebra.....it great stuff but user failure caused the issues not the product.

Great stuff. Dries really fast so perfect for kids to wear all day at school. I paid £18 for 200mk from Sainsburys which was supposed to be a 20% off discount.

Definitely agree with the yellow stains issue.

Does anyone else think it smells a bit like curry too?

I'd anyone hasn't used this stuff yet - it's brilliant !! I'm a ginger with freckles and a proclivity to frying in the smallest of sunspots but P20 f50 had proven to be the best lotion I've ever used. And I've used dozens of different makes. And spent £100's. And been burnt over & over again from creams & lotions that promised to be'the best thing ever'. P20 was a top I heard on the radio so I thought I'd give it a go. One coat & that was it for the day; some slight reddening but no burning for pretty much the first time ever ! Usually bought it for £20+ so this really is a good deal. HEAT !!!

You can pickup calypso once a day for less than half the price of this and reviews seem to suggest people think it's excellent. Only thing that concerns me is that riemann is 'very water resistant' where as calypso just states 'water resistant'. Does anyone have any practical experience of this?

Be warned this will stain your clothes and towel though.

Also not so good if you tend to be allergic to skin products

yup I've used this stuff for the best part of 3 years now, I put it on the kids in the morning and they go off an play in the pool in 30oC heat for 3-4 hours without burning and they are fair haired and skinned.

Slap this stuff in a good 10-20 mins before putting on cloths to avoid the staining other mentioned

I can vouch for this in the sun and in the water, great stuff

Great price for Reimanns. Used it for years, but decided to give Calypso a go recently, particularly as Aldi sell it for £4. Found it works exactly the same, has pretty much the same ingredients with the benefits that it doesn't smell as strongly as Reimanns, and it has a slightly thicker texture.

Just a personal preference, but it is now my all day lotion of choice. Heat though on the deal posted.

I have both, I love the smell of Piz Buin 1 Day Long and it does its job but I find that it rubs off, P20 is great, only problem is when you put it on your face watch your eyes, even the fumes from this will irritate your eyes like hell!

Anyone know when the deal ends? Thanks

In my opinion this is better. Half the price and every but as good as P20. Used both and never burned. I cant recommend the Calypso (in link) highly enough. Its £5.99 normally in Home Bargains.

I swear by calypso once a day, equally as good and less than half the price of this.

its in primark too not sure on price

this is only £9.99 in primark. Don't know how to post a picture

Did mention this in the OP - I've only seen 100ml size for about the same price - although a friend said 200ml was in their but was much closer to £20.

it's £9.90 just checked the picture!

It's £9 or less in home bargains

Sincerely, home Bargains employee

This stuff is terrible. I bought the factor 20 for a trip to Mexico. Both me and my partner burned anyway. So I bought factor 30 for a holiday in the canaries. We still burned. It simply doesn't work!

Echoing other comments, this is the best all day protection and really is all day, even with swimming. Never needed to re-apply (apart from after playing in the breakers on a beach and getting dragged up the sand!)
Totally worth the slightly unpleasant first half hour of binding time.

thankyou

brilliant stuff, although it does stings the eyes if it gets in!

Blimey, you've got to be a ginger. Unlucky!!!!!

9.99 in Home bargains... Not sure if in all stores but North shields branch has..may help someone

No home bargains near me :O)....but got two 30's and one 50 :O)....The only time I have burned is when I never used this. By the way the one's at my local savers were the spray on version :O)

Also never had a cloths staining incident....and thanks the tanning gods, as this would really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really annoy me.....a little ;O)

Do you know if Aldi have it in regularly or just on the odd special buy?
