My 11pcs from Costco arrived yesterday and can confirm it’s the 2nd Gen. I also bought the 3pcs stick up cams and these are outdoor versions. I previously had the Eufy Alarm setup and the Homebase 2 internal memory packed up and the Eufy Support wasn’t helpful, so opted for this Ring setup. Far more superior than the Eufy setup plus this has an external siren. Siren runs on D batteries or rechargeable li ion pack or you can hardwire it. With it on rechargeable li-ion or hardwired option, the siren unit glows at night. The base unit runs on Wi-Fi and has a battery built in to keep it running 24 hours should you lose power to it. Subscription is £80 a year for storing all events and footage but this includes extended warranty on your alarm components for as long as the subscription is active. Very happy with my upgrade.

The Costco deal is £75 less and just excludes 2 door sensors that cost £19 each.
Factor £38 extra in for the door sensors and £15 for Costco online membership and you’re still £23 cheaper than this. Cold
It’s actually £4 cheaper than this deal to buy the 11 piece with indoor camera from Amazon for £279.99 and the dual pack of door sensors for £35.99.

The point about this set-up really is that it's the most comprehensive one sold and will cover larger houses - as well as smaller ones where you want to add bits to the system. It's cheaper to buy it this way than to buy a cheaper kit and add on extras.

Bizarrely, this kit costs no more than the one without the indoor camera - whether that's a mistake or not, who knows, but it's pointless buying the version without the camera.

This looks to be the best price around for this system with both camera and outdoor siren.

This year's Ring price on sale has been similar or worse than last 1-2 years

I am looking for a 2nd set. Considering the 8 piece set from Costco
