Does this usually cost a lot more or something as you can get a 12v air compressor for less than this.

Don't forget, this one is digital. You need that.

Digital air. What next....

This is a really good compressor, much better than the run-of the-mill stuff at this price elsewhere. Excellent reviews. Accurate digital display and auto cut-off at set pressure. Highly recommended.

Great find. Just ordered 1.

I've got one of these and it's excellent.
Good price

Maybe you've not noticed that almost all the garages have digital air pumps. As mentioned it allows auto-cut off. I've got one of these and it's great. I'd certainly prefer the digital over a 'normal' one.

Cheers, this is newer design compared with amazon ; ordered one

"Digital Air.... what next" obviously a joke. Sorry if I caused confusion.

Had the same one....died in 6 months, with some spectacular smoke effects. Have the non digital version now, which is going strong and cost a fiver

I've had some digital display thing with auto cut off for about 6 years, I have used it quite a lot to top up the tyre pressures on my car and the wifes car. It has a light which you can have on constantly or flashing and has a plastic red or orange filter (can't remember) to go over the light to use as a flashing warning light and it has a couple of adapters for pumping up push bike tyres, footballs, paddling pools etc. It's still going strong and cost £13-£15 from Argos, it wasn't on special offer or anything either.

This is a brilliant compressor, just used mine this afternoon

i've got the older one (from Amazon) which i'm really pleased with. Think i paid £17.99 few months back

Anything over £18 risks being stopped at customs, held for ages and then the post office ringing your doorbell to charge you tax, plus their own charges on top - I wouldn't risk buying this from 7 Day Shop as the price could go up quite a bit if it got stopped.

Thanks, just ordered! Cashback via Quidco also!

Already got one myself, new one for a present. Best pump ever. So easy to use and comes in a handy storage bag.

Ordered This site costs me a bloody fortune!

got them on amerzon for same price

These won an AutoExpress test of compressors - got a rave review - especially for accuracy which is sometimes poor on many other makes...

I got a couple and have been very pleased with them....

I got one and had to replace it as it kept blowing a fuse on my car. The one I got now, I'm happy with.

Beware the LCD on mine packed up after a couple of months. Have bought a Halfrauds one to replace it which in my opinion is a much better product

eh? they are in the UK

Yep they are most certainly in the UK: I ordered one just a couple of weeks ago from 7dayshop, it came from Guernsey and only took a couple of days to arrive. The item is excellent and it comes with a neat carrying case.

Can you tell me where? I can't find them at Amazon for £18.99

Can I ask what the difference is? One is obviously better but I can't see why really.

From what I remember there were a lot of dodgy units from the old version, I got one that kept blowing my car fuse and had to get it replaced. Happy with it so far.

Advice is to spend a little xtra for the newer model.

Cheers....although I will miss the wife doing her manual pump!

it was a strange post wasnt it

Guernsey is NOT a part of the UK.

en.wikipedia.org/wik…sey

Guernsey, like Jersey, is a Crown Dependency of the United Kingdom. This means that it is not part of the UK, but shares some of its government and administrative functions with it. Both Guernsey and Jersey have their own mini-parliaments (known as 'The States') and this gives them rather more practical independence of Westminster than, say, Scotland or Wales, although the UK government is responsible for the island's defence and foreign relationships.

Have the older model and it's great, get this one -- you won't be disappointed.

Excellent. Have ordered mine. Was going to buy hotukdeals.com/dea…103 but decided that an extra £3.00 was worth it. Cheers

lol just had one of these delivered today. ordered from amazon for £15.99 amazon.co.uk/gp/…uct

havent used it yet

Got one from Amazon 6 months ago and it just packed in,
the Amazon seller is replacing it so hopefully it'll last longer.

true, and interesting, but doesn't make Deewhatsits post any less bogus. 7Dayshop are fine and not subject to customs in the same way as a "foreign country" would be.

I would say (if it helps anyone) that I have never had a problem returning things to 7dayshop - they are very good to deal with IMO.

Spookily bought one of these last week from 7dayshop - so far very good and far better/compact than the old Halfords Rapid Digital that it replaced - much quicker and a bit quieter too. Also never had problems with customs when buying from 7dayshop for bulkier/pricier items like this. Recommended.

The £29 (ouch!) RAC640 has extra wide adapters for airbeds.
Does anyone know if those extra wide adapters would be available as an optional extra from the manufacturer for this RAC630 model?

Cheers gone for one. Useful to have one at home rather than having to go to the garage each week.

Received my replacement 2 days after posting it back, very fast, can't complain.

hmm 32 reviews on amazon, 21 gave it 5 out 5

Yeah I saw those hence why I bought it but like I said I was disappointed when it packed in about 3 months later.

The Michelin (not Halfrauds - my mistake) one has a removable air pressure gauge which allows you to check your tyre pressures without having to unravel all the cords and plug it in. Brilliant IMO.

I ordered one of these a few months back for a very similar price, it does the job fine, but I personally don't consider it much of a bargain.
