Sue and the hertswatch team will follow all abuses of this code.

But why would they waste their time on that? Should they not be happy that other people are also able to secure their homes? It's not like the discount is coming off their own pockets.

Anyway Sue and team, I just ordered this and I live in E14. Hope this helps you in tracking my order.
Any pictures of this Sue?
I’ll be able to ignore her when she rings my doorbell.

Hertfordshire residents only! any special reason?

We are the chosen ones...

Its being supported by the herts owl - neighbourhood watch.
Wish I'd invested in doorbells six months ago. Through the roof recently
Just for Hertfordshire? That's not good (for the rest of us)
seems to work for anyone
Code works for me and I’m nowhere near there lol

This is only for HertsOwl members. This code should never have been posted on here and ring will either deduct the extra £50 or cancel the order. Sue and the hertswatch team will follow all abuses of this code.

I'm sure even with the money off they're still making a decent chunk of profit. Would be poor form on the part of RING to cancel or sue as some have suggested. Always worth a try. Also not a cat in hells chance they'll get away with taking the extra £50 as also suggested.

Maybe they're the only ones with two front doors?

Ring are a relatively new company and with stiff competition coming next year from Nest (a Google brand) Ring will take the sales wherever they can get them, they’ll still be making a lot of money on the doorbell never mind the subscription package so they will honour it, it’s market share and profit after all!!

Have a chat with yourself.

These codes pop up for neighbourhood watch schemes all over the country.

If Sue and the team really want to chase people getting a doorbell then maybe you should look at another leader and team who are more interested in watching the neighbourhood over being an internet hero.

No disrespect to Sue and the team. I’m sure they don’t even know they are being touted as vigilantes of the Ring.com discount code.

How does "Sue and The Hertswatch Team" get access to my orders with Ring ?

Surely these should be only for Ring to have access to as the order will contain my payment details - which I would prefer that Sue and the team have no access to as I don't know them...........her team could be The Suicide Squad for all I know !

Thank god I don’t live in Herts where Stiffnuts sends Sue and her vigilantes for improper use of a doorbell code.

Utter nonsense. Ring will be delighted (since they probably cost about £10 to manufacture) and rub their hands with glee at all the extra orders they get before they reduce the price themselves to something more sensible once the competition kicks in.
You can get £40 of if you use 3UKRING50 i used it on a spotlight cam
Great deal. I’m sure they’re aware the code will be used since they’ve just upped the price from £149 last week.

For those who don’t know this is also compatible with IFTTT (If This Then That).

I've had my Ring doorbell for over 2 years now and it's one of those products that works really well and is extremely useful to me as I'm out of the house all day. It's way more than just a simple doorbell and the subscription price at $30 per year or $3 per month is extremely minimal.

I'll be keeping an eye out for the Nest doorbell but I bet they'll cripple you with up front cost and the additional subscription like they do with the webcams. I have the Nest thermostat and Nest protect smoke alarms, but I'll never buy a Nest webcam.

Its amazing how much they are charging for these things....its a recurring revenue model $30 per year...think about it £179?! even at £129 they should be cheaper because its all the recurring revenue they'll get that they make the money on and inflates their share price

All these companies Nest, Ring, ACME IoT device with monthly/yearly recurring its the same way Microsoft has gone with Office 365, Apple charging for storage and Spotify charging for streaming services. Start working out how much you're all paying in 'micropayments' a month

That being said I have voted hot as I have nothing against Ring its a good product and does what it says on the tin plus this is a good price

How did you find that out?
This is a seriously good deal and brings the price down far lower than is available anywhere.

You really do need to include Hertfordshire in your address from the drop down list. I bought one for someone that lives in Hertfordshire then bought one for myself using my London address but also including Hertfordshire from the drop down; the post office are normally good at routing out one wrong line like this so fingers crossed.
