It was £19. Someone will steal it. 90 quid for a doorbell, not in my day. …It was £19. Someone will steal it. 90 quid for a doorbell, not in my day. Burglars will know I'm out. Gearbest do a knock off for £20. Subscription to a doorbell what is the world coming to.These threads are getting worse than the lease deals.

You have no idea how useful this thing is. Have never missed a delivery since. Security wise, it’s on point!

Same price at Argos.
This is the old model (720p), and has been this price at Argos for a few weeks now (unless you were lucky on New Year’s Day and got it for £19!).
Deal or No Deal?

Yes it's the old model but I have not seen it advertised on here for less than £99 (not including the £19 miss price). I normally check here first before checking retailers, so hopefully might help someone out.
Going to get very cold in here as ppl will point back to the recent NYD one from argos, which some got while a lot didn't

Not voting either way

Why are you not voting?
Is it the best price for this item at this moment in time?

If i need this item today should i buy from this retailer or elsewhere?

take a chill pill and move on ... this deal isn't for you.

He was having a go at the moaners, not moaning himself - maybe read it again?
Come on... it looks garbage, it’s huge and it’s a doorbell that doesn’t come with a chime! If you want/need a camera get an Arlo Pro setup..

I searched on here and could not see it posted at this price (£99 was the lowest, not including the £19 misprice) hence why I posted it.

Not all deals are for everyone but if someone was actually looking for this doorbell then it is the cheapest place at the moment.
battery life sucks by the way..
Voted Hot as it's a good price if you want one.
Personally not for me as I think everyone is too obsessed with cameras these days . Someone knocks my door I answer, If I'm out they just go away simple. I do thou see the benefit for old people or people that feel vulnerable.

I know i bought one for my mum as she cant hear the main bell at the back of the house, therefore with the chime plugged into the dinning room she will be able.

No its not a massive house, mum cant hear the best and not wanting to annoy the next door neighbour everytime the bell rings.

So I take it you are down voting the deal based on a solid “probably”.

Hmm a bit of a conundrum. Better to be safe than sorry i suppose.
I voted hot because i can't find anything cheaper.
Pretty simple really.

What gets me is people vote cold because they don't like the product. That's not the point of the site. You vote if it is a good deal or not.

Was a pricing error at Argos a while ago, soon got taken down.
Why is this cold? This is the best price for this model at the moment.

Stop pointing at the £19 glitch. Glitch != Deal.... morons.

Probably something like this I would …Probably something like this I would guess;https://www.gearbest.com/access-control/pp_626802.html

Thanks

But........

It's not £20 and it looks like it doesn't run off a battery

Totally agree!
1 year warranty is pathetic for a premium priced tech product. They need to be well built to withstand all weathers and rough treatment. If they don't have confidence in the durability of their stuff then... I'm out.

When it works yes its great. I bought the version 2 for my parents and the software has been deteriorating so bad over the last few months. Now its slow to login (if it logs in at all), slow to connect to the camera etc. Not just me go see the reddit forums, people have the same issue where recently its just not working like its supposed to. I have resorted to sticking the wifi point literally on the other side of the wall to the doorbell to try and improve the speed it connects with no effect. I wish it had ethernet.

Admittedly I am getting an additional one for myself because there's nothing else on the UK market that does what this does so not really much choice.
But just as a warning to everyone, expect bugs. For less bugs the Pro version is a bit better according to the forums.
