Good price, but this is likely to go down further in price. I believe its true value is around £119
Heat for looking like something from Skynet.
Don't think it's gone below £169 over the last year. Mostly between £209 and £249. Great price and great product. Works brilliant to alert you of movement etc. Great video. You don't need to sign up to monthly charges either

I got mine from CEX for £140 using voucher
I agree with you about the price
However this is the cheapest it has ever been so I think it could be good for those after it

Can the bulbs be replaced and is it ONVIF compatible?
What's the sensitivity like? Would a cat trigger it

Yes if you want it to. You can adjust the sensitivity though to avoid this
Like the white it looks more discreet in my opinion
Good price
Wow, didn't even know about this product so thanks All for your comments. Will bite if/when if goes down to £120

It won't be dropping to that anytime soon, it's normally priced at £200+

So insightful, the world needs more people telling us what they believe the true value of product should be. Get onto Ring and probably Apple too and let them know, I’m sure they’ll be really interested in your findings.

What a skill to have.

No, but I've seen ring replace them when the LEDs have gone.

As said, depends how sensitive you set it. Boiler fumes can set it off if you put it on most sensitive.
A cheaper alternative would be the "Digoo DG-ULC" for around £44
Waterproof 1080p camera linked to a PIR, youve just to got to add your own floodlight - say >> (50W LED for £21)
Also has Onvif & 64Gb card support
I assume these only really work if you also take out the cloud storage subs as otherwise I assume there's no way to view any recordings, unless you have your phone by your side 24/7 ready to record the live feed? Plus they seem to come with a 3 pin plug fitted when most security lights seem to normally run off the house lighting circuit?
No 3 pin plug fitted at all, you have to hard wire them. I think the spot light version can come with a 3 pin plug option but not the floodlight. If you have an outdoor security light already it's an easy swap.

Video recording is £2.50 per month or £25 per year which allows you to access motion triggered clips for 60 days, it's not continuous recording like Nest - It's a really decent price but I've seen terrible reviews of Ring (See the subreddit or generic YouTube)

As @reviewz said it's a hard wired product, if you have existing wiring for a floodlight outside then it's a swap there's no 3 pin plug for this product.

Edit: If you don't pay the subscription you just get access to live view and nothing will be recorded, you'll still be notified of motion if it catches it but it won't be recorded. You can still manually activate lights and/or siren as you please.

Is this the floodlight you can buy the solar panel for?

No, that's the Ring stick up camera. This one is mains powered only.

Does anyone happen to know where to get a suitable junction box for this?

I had a look at circular junction boxes on screw fix but they didn't seem to have ones where the backing plate from the floodlight to screw on to? Have you got a product code or link to one you bought by any chance?

Though from reading some Amazon reviews we maybe don't need a junction box for the UK since what comes with the UK version is slightly different?

I think maybe the junction box is more so to store the wires and waterproof the enclosure? But that is good to know. Just screw the plate on the wall, connect the wires and then screw base on?

That’s correct
That's exactly how I put mine up.
