Doesn't say on the wickes website how wide the angle of the picture is. Need this to determine how many are required.

Great bit of kit, assuming your wifi is strong enough.

Also they only connect to 2G.
Anyone know how long the code lasts for?

Hot!

Tempted to get a second one at this price.

No doubt some bell end will be along soon to tell everyone that a cctv is better and cheaper, but it won’t actually compare with this product at all. It certainly won’t have cloud storage, two way audio, a siren or floodlights.
That's a great price! And it's a great product too.
Amazing piece of kit. Well worth the cash. But hope they continue support because they have recently been bought by Amazon

If anything, I hope they plough more money in to it.
There appears to be an update to the app coming very soon, which looks very promising.
Was just considering this last night. Lots of reviews about it doen't working at night or just doesn't work in general. Remember to add on the cost of installation. If you pay someone to install it and it doesn't work later, it'll cost you lots and time wasted.

I've owned mine for nearly a year now and its worked fine. I can't say I've seen anyone complain about it not working at night?

Installation wise, I was fortunate as I was replacing an existing floodlight, so it was very simple. Obviously I understand not everyone will be as lucky.
I went for netvue from amazon - as also read spurious reports of ring
Paid electrician to install - front and back
neither of them connect to WiFi
contacted both netvue and amazon - can return but doesn’t help me re failed installation costs or if I do remove them - I am left with live exposed wiring

thinking of getting these but will be super p1ssed if these are a failure
Just ordered another, I have doorbell too and they both work flawlessly
more spotlight than floodlight, would be great if it were LED bulbs plus wifi cloud cam

You are looking at the right product right?

Yes, its the 'Ring' double floodlight which are actually double halogen spotlights with the 'Ring-company' insides - similar to the doorbell and unfortunately similar speakers - thus not that great unless you have direct sight.

Am I wrong and they now have LED lightbulbs rather than Halogen?

Yeah, the Ring Floodlight cam have leds, not halogen.
That's why I thought I would ask.

Thank you for the correction, saw this in Costco with a sales rep present and I was really disappointed the item had Halogen floodlights and the speakers were the same volume as the ring doorbell. wickes seems to have got an upgraded version, at least the company listens and acts on feedback unlike 'yale'

You would think Ring won't be stupid enough to use halogens as those will heat up pretty quick & use more power. Shame they chose not to use standard fittings like regular GU10 LED bulbs that you could replace if any of the LED chips die. LED is the future & the technology behind that is always improving. My only concern would be if any LED chips die on Ring cam, are you going to replace the whole unit?

True, although at the same time I would expect them to last for some time, unless they're going to be on a hell of a lot.
I now have a couple of units and may expand to a third, in which case I would consider paying monthly for 'Protect', rather than 'Basic'. This then provides a lifetime warranty.
I do realise this option isn't for everyone, but would suit me.

Good deal, about to drop the cash on two of these, code wasn't working for me though, it's now changed, might be worth updating your original post - EXTRA15 is now the correct code
