Have one already and they are very good been looking for another one at a decent price. £209 instore so this is online price only. For those thinking its expensive its a very good LED floodlight, 110db siren, has HD video recording and viewing directly to your mobile phone along with two way audio communication. Check out the videos its a really cool bit of kit. Possible Quidco cashback too!

sorry my bad lol

Daft question, is it mains only, ie if power cut there’s battery backup for camera?

I paid rrp when it came out it’s a very good product however be warned if you want the full works u have to paid for a subscription for the year, the same as the doorbell which I find it slower that this. You can add a plug on the end if you drill through a wall and want to install that way.

It's mains only.
They do a Ring Spotlight (rather than a floodlight) in battery form.

Oos

can you toggle the pir settings in the app? like if im stepping into the garden at night and dont want the lights coming on i can switch off?
Also, how does the camera connect? wired ethernet? wifi only? cheers

i,m buying the netatmo presence , if you have ios device its worth getting homekit compatible devices. Also come with 3yr manufacturer warranty.

In the app you can disable the 3 separate zones for the lights, which I can only assume means they won't come on (I've never tried it on that setting myself). You can switch the lights on and off via the app as and when needed too.
The camera is WiFi only.

Before buying this make sure you have a fast enough up load internet speed. I got one, only to find it would not upload the video data quick enough to get a picture to the app on my phone making it useless. They recommend a 2mbs I only have 1mbs and it would not work. So I returned it and have got the MK1 doorbell cam which is on offer for £99 (from £139) from argos, this will work with .5mbs (hopefully)

I thinkyou'll find most will need at least 2mb upload otherwise even if you get video from the camera remotely to work the quality will be greatly reduced. HD video requires a certain amount of bandwidth and there's no getting away from that fact unfortunately

I live in a terraced house, I don't have much of a backyard and out the front... I don't think I'd be popular.

Get a good POE security camera system, you should never rely on a wifi signal for home security
