Can’t see this being very popular, people won’t be leaving their house for the next 12 months.

Website back up now. Just ordered
Site still down.

It came back up there and I managed to get an order in. Recieved email and text to confirm. Can't get back on the site at all now.
I was tempted with these, but just think you still need an outdoor siren really. One to potentially put people off (Ok if someone is intent on getting in nothing will stop the, but still a visual deterrent). And two to hopefully grab attention of neighbours (I know a lot ignore but something is surely better than nothing)

Eventually I ended up settling on the Ajax system which I am very impressed with the app allows you very specific control over all parts of your house. Completely wire free, with upto 7 year battery (Apart from the hub which is wired but has backup Batt). Very loud outdoor alarm (Which can be set to blink when armed), Can control from key fobs or phone, very good anti jam security. And you can get it to both notify your phone and rung upto 3 people if an alarm is tripped.

The ring alarm for insurance purposes (And peace of mind) is graded as a grade 1, the Ajax and other pro systems are grade 2

Grade 1. The system can resist inexperienced attackers. It protects the most obvious entry points, for example, the front door. It is suitable for spaces that face a minimal risk of robbery and don’t actually contain valuables.

Grade 2. The system can resist experienced attackers with special equipment. It protects doors, windows and other possible entry points. It is suitable for an apartment, house or office.

I spent a fair time looking into these so any queries let me know will try to help

Of course not. It was a fair bit more expensive than this actually. Cost me £347 for the Ajax home kit 1

I think it's meant to be aimed at pro installers, as only one place (can pm you) out of all their recommended dealers would let me buy it direct without a trade account

Sure. Mobile app is very good. Lots of customisation you can do both on the devices (such as alarm sound. entry delays and so on) also has a virtual key pad.

I got back from holiday the other day and after been away for a week I clicked the disarm on my key fob, and straight away got a notification on my phone telling me it has been disarmed (which was impressive as android can sometime delay notifications).
Can also set up proximity reminders. So if you leave and are more than 1km away and not armed it will remind you (I don't do this as imagine it will eat battery)

Very easy actually. (Well apart from.i didn't realise you had to hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn it on, thought I had a dud.....)

I have fitted a few Yale alarms before and find them an absolute pain in the....!.your always worried you are going to trip it off by accident. With these each device has its own QR code. Scan it using the app, pop it in position, and then adjust the settings as you like.

(Just one other point. You set the hub up first. Mine must have been on a red light for about half a hour indicating no connection, but then it went white and has been solid ever since).

I feel a lot safer having something with both an internal and external alarm than just an indoor one.
