There are some less than complementary reviews,

e.g.

Inflator supplied does not match photographs, 26 April … Inflator supplied does not match photographs, 26 April 2010 By A. N. Brown - ]See all my reviewsThis review is from: Digital Tyre Inflator, 12 Volt (Automotive) I purchased this inflator because it illustrated a "screw on" tyre attachment. It arrived with a "lever attachment" which is what I have on my existing digital inflator which can sometimes be difficult to attach to the valve stem. However, I decided not to fuss about this and continue to persevere with it. It would I felt be foolish to return it for this reason. If anyone else purchases this product they should specify a screw adaptor. Therefore three stars not five.

Makes you wonder if the non-branded are seconds or something. Amazon themselves have a good return policy though, so long as it isn't a marketplace seller you should be able to return it no hassle.

I returned mine to amazon because it kept blowing the cig fuse on my car. Anyone else?
I might pop into maplins and test it there.
