Please don't waste your money on this, I bought it on special from Costco and wish I hadn't. Image quality is good and night vision works well- that's where the good bits end.
The killer problem with this is the recording lag, by the time the camera detects motion, adjusts exposure and starts recording the person you were trying to record has gone out of view. I occasionally catch an over-exposed glimpse of the postman going out of shot or the foxes at night, but for security or evidential use this is absolutely rubbish even on highest sensitivity and with perfect Wi-Fi signal on fibre broadband.
Why buy these when for example the YI 1080p cameras are quite often on sale for £30-40, also have an app and all the features of a ring camera.

If you purchased the battery version as mentioned, then that's the issue.
I would always recommend going for the mains / POV versions where possible.

I guess it all depends on what you want from the product or what brand you prefer.
Just having a quick look at the outdoor yi camera shows that the field of view is pretty poor Vs Ring.

As I say, if you are happy with yi and its functions, then it could well be a good alternative.

Is anybody knows a good wireless battery powered up camera compatible with SYNOLOGY NAS?

Would you link to an example please? Just want an idea of what's available. Thanks
Has anyone used Reolink cameras?

I’ve already said an example in the YI cameras.
