How loud is the speaker? My favourite bit on the advert for these is when the guy announces he's on holiday through the speaker - why would you do that? And why would you want to answer your door when you're on holiday anyway?
Brilliant, cheers OP, just bagged one before they all go but didn't have chance to research this much.

I know the storage subscription is $30 for the year which saves clips for 60 days.

Does the doorbell pickup movement and record without the bell being pressed?

And how does this version compare to the more expensive ones? They seem to be 3 x the cost for 1080p which on the face of it seems hardly worth much extra at all if all you're doing is viewing on a phone screen most of the time. Anything else that I might regret not having?
Thanks - ordered - now chime and power need research anyone any tips??
I had a really bad experience with this company, they cancelled an order just because I applied an ebay voucher and I had to chase my money for two weeks. Their customer service is absolute rubbish, slow and unclear. I was down £400 for two weeks and had to phone/email them daily. Then my negative feedback disappeared!
I ended up sending this original version back for a refund (£89 from Amazon at the time) as it simply refused to connect to my BT Mesh system/VM wifi. Got the Version 2 for £119 from Amazon INCLUDING a 3rd Gen Echo Dot which I sold for £35 (have way too many Echos already!), effectively making the net cost £84. Connected right away.

Well worth the extra over this IMO (you just have to wait for the best time to buy), it's just so much better thought out. The battery in the V2 is removable so no need to take the whole unit off to recharge it, thereby leaving you with no doorbell for hours (i have a spare battery which is kept fully charged). Proper Full HD picture and way better build quality. The V1 is a pretty old design now and it shows. Yes, a great price here but I would personally wait until the V2 is back on offer on Amazon. These products are notoriously WiFi dependant and I would prefer to buy from a company that has a great reputation for taking stuff back...

Ps Heat added for the price all the same as it is very good.
I contacted this company at least 3 times asking about an item but they never replied. Personally I'd rather buy from Amazon over 5 monthly payments
