There are huge security concerns with this product. I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole regardless of the price.

Ah who cares....I wont be caught out by this nonsense!

Ok deal at the min, if these and wickes both reduce price wouldn’t be surprised if Amazon throw in the show 5 again

I wasnt aware Huawei phones were sending stuff back to China - any articles on this? I thought it was their Mobile Networking equipment that was the worry

I have just installed and uninstalled the Ring doorbell pro. Firstly it is not instant notification I have very good wifi signal and it was pretty slow in notification even slower on clicking to watch live sometime up to 10 seconds . Then it dosent store anything the bell or the app so I get notification detecting there is someone approaching the front door and by the time click on the app they have gone and no idea why I got the notification or who/ what was there. Only way to know is to pay the thinking £2.43 a month so they can keep the recording for you. Then there is concern that someone going just to pull it off and steal it ( as it can easily be reset. ) before this I had bought a copy one from Ebay for £25ish and that had a same slow response ( hence I bought the Ring thinking it was going to be better but was not) at least the cheap one takes SD card so you can have about of month of recording on it and can be downloaded in the app.

And also the security concern as mentioned above that Ring allowing 3rd party companies to access the live data etc. Sorry to be long winded but this is another useless gadget that sounds good on the paper.

eh, what are you even talking about? I don't even own this product. I only posted a link

I think you may need more awareness on cyber security and the impact.
