Yawn.........
This looks like the Future,if you want to wait and see.

Netatmo smart video doorbell Netatmo, the French company behind wireless cameras and various smart home sensors, is now challenging Ring in the growing smart doorbell market. The Netatamo Smart Video Doorbell does require wiring into your door, but its key advantage over other products is the free storage for videos captured on the doorbell camera. Many other smart home gadgets now charge a subscription for such a feature. The doorbell has a micro-SD card slot to store the video clips, encrypted for user privacy. These can also be transferred to a cloud storage account, such as Dropbox. The doorbell works with a range of smart home platforms, including Apple’s HomeKit system on iPhones and iPads. The Netatamo Smart Video Doorbell will be released in the second half of 2019. Pricing has not yet been announced.
I don't know if anyone else buys stuff off Kickstarter, but this is what I'm getting. I know I know it's not a doorbell, but it looks bloody good for £76.00

Don't you have to pay for cloud backup on Ring? So not really a good point...a battery and card still not getting anywhere near the price of ring

I've not even looked at the link yet but I like it when people chip in with alternatives, sometimes you realise there are more cost effective solutions to problems

I bought the 'alternative', and I believe it's actually better than the ring alternative. It was easy to set up providing you follow the instructions and a 16GB card is cheap enough. It does have a cloud option although I haven't used it.

Neither this nor the Ring are all that responsive and they take a short while to grab the feed, by which time the caller might have gone. This one has a PIR which will tell you if someone approaches the door without pressing the bell, like the postman, dunno if the Ring does that.

Is the memory card in the doorbell itself or the chime, ie if someone pinches the doorbell they have the memory card too?
If you have an Alexa unit, you don't need the chime. A recent update to the Alexa app means it can function as the chime. Chime pro is only required to extend WiFi.

Also remember the subscription. £25 per camera per year or £90 for multiple devices.

Yes there is only the bell and the ringer so it has to go in the bell. It does have a cloud option in the software, but I've never used it.

Is it an actual boxed bundle with both items in 1 box or do they just give you 1 doorbell and 1 chime as 2 separate items?

What’s the difference between Ring 2 and Ring Pro?
Just dont bother. Someone presses the doorbell and you'll have to wait 30 seconds till anything tells you theres someone at the door, at which time they've bogged off to deliver next door... I've had one for 6 months now

What’s the difference between Ring 2 and Ring Pro?

This might help.

37027725-KjA7h.jpg
Avoid these things at all cost, if you really want one then find a cheap Ring 1. They have too much latency to be useful and the app is horrible, I mean you cannot schedule when to record, only when to give you alerts, so you have to keep manually turning it on and off. You'll get a ring and it will alert you 20 seconds later, then it'll take forever to connect, by which time they've left lol. On top of that it only records 30 seconds, so often you don't get video of what they've done with the parcel.
