same price at John Lewis with two year guarentee

I have this and it's really good. Only issue I have had is with the software not always loading the videos quick enough (times out and says there is an error but then works). Picture quality is very good even in low light/darkness.

I just got the original version from amazon warehouse deals only £68

Its not outdated its a cheaper model.
BTW your "Ring Video Doorbell 2" is obsoleted by the new PRO model.

Is also a PRO model already out in the USA with POE support which makes installation easier for some.
Was told a while ago it should be in the UK soon.

Tbh I just want a basic video doorbell that you can see when your out and about, and I think £68 is a good deal for that, I ain’t paying £150 for a newer model haha save some pennies

How are these powered? Mains or battey?

Pro model has been available same amount of time as Video Doorbell

I’ve had the pro for over 18 months, not new. There’s just different models dependant on your needs.

The Ring 2 has a removable battery that you can charge on it's own and install back into the bell, the original one you had to remove the entire bell and charge it.

Of course with either of these you can have a power wire going to the battery to charge and you then don't need to remove them at all.

The V2 also is Full HD and has 2 changeable faceplates included along with plastic wedges to add angle and tilt to the bell install
