This Costco deal comes with a chime which usually costs more bundled so it's actually a better deal than Currys offering if you happen to be a Costco member.

Heat from me.

Hey if Amazon want to listen to and decipher all the cr@p my family talk about they can fill their boots I wouldn't wish it on anyone
This feels like the better deal as Chime is at least £20 elsewhere.

So if you compare this to the Curry's deal you are only paying only £10 for the Chime

This is a better deal for those who have membership at Costco and they are not bothered with Spotify. This comes with a chime which is usually about £20.

No...only need membership to buy in-store.

Online you can buy without a membership but this incurs a 5% charge which would make this £105 (nearly)

Very currently doing Chime Pro deal for £130. Had posted on here but HUKD mods deleted 👎
Do there other offers from Amazon include 6 months free cloud service.
Aw great deal! I paid £119 for mine from costco last time
I think great deal factoring in the 6 months free subscription no one's mentioned!
Good price, picked this very same bundle up at the same price from Costco a couple of months back. Impressed with the product, we use as 'secondary' doorbell and security cam, really, and have found it effective......anywhooo, good price for the bundle
Why would anybody buy something that spies on them and feeds their personal data back to Amazon?

This is no longer the case. You need an online subscription at £15 per year if you don’t have A membership.

Yeah but no chime
Not much need for this at the moment if we are all following lockdown protocols!
Thanks op
Heat added. Ordered
jgeorge14/04/2020 13:15

no

Really? How do you do that? Two months ago I've tried to order a tablet from them and asked me for the membership number. My membership was expired and didn't let me order.
In the meantime I've renewed my membership and it lets me buy this.

What’s the difference with this & the pro? & how much is the ring subscription per year? Thanks

The pro version is smaller as far as I am aware and only works wired. This one you can wire it (you may need a transformer) or you can use the battery. With regards to subscription, I do not know, but I guess it depends on the plan you choose and will not matter which door bell you have.

Belief was that the Curry's deal was better so I explained the difference between this and Chime Pro, hence different deal and potential bargain. Mods have since replied, deal is slightly better at AO as you don't have to pay postage.

So, to be clear, Chime Pro bundle is available from Very and AO for £130.
I bought the very same one a while ago and had to send it back, it was really poor! The sync with the app, and delays... images at night or even day time weren’t great.
I sent it back and went for a cheaper Kamep from Amazon and that was the best thing I’ve every done! A decent product for less

As already mentioned the Ring Pro is smaller and prettier, looks more like a doorbell. Pro has to be hardwired whereas the Ring 2 can be used with or without hardwiring due to the battery. Resolution is the same on both however the Ring pro wins hands down on motdetection which is considerably more configurable than the Ring 2 and makes for less false alerts. Subscription is the same on both.

Its funny how it works, mines brilliant. The app works really well with the bell and picture quality is superb.
What does the chime do ?
Call me an idiot, but do you NEED the chime? Like what benefit does it offer?
jaher14/04/2020 19:03

What does the chime do ?

It rings when someone press ur doorbell button. And also you can customize the ring tone. You don't have to have it! But if you have Alexa it's will tell you someone at your door as well as the app, do the same job.

It just ring when someone press the bell , if no chime only your mobile and tablet or pc will notify you that someone is here
