Another Prime Day deal, looks like a good way to dip your toe into this sort of thing.

Please note this is the V1, so 720p video.

Both finishes available (went for Venetian Bronze myself...).

£4 more than second hand from CEX and cheaper than yesterdays £71.99 EBay deal.

Yep. Good shout, I forgot to put this in the description. Updated accordingly.
Mine has stopped giving notifications for a week now since their latest android update.
Undecided whether to get this or ring 2, is it worth the extra for v2?
Ordered for Parents, thanks. I have this version & it’s great
Has anyone got an alternative, instead of paying £11 pm after a year...

Not sure where you’re getting £11 pm. Subscription is £24.99 annually.

And yes there are many alternatives all of which are considerably poorer in features, updates and support than the Ring.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried this and other options several l times without success until yesterday. It is now working as long as I keep to Ring's standard sound. Ring say they are still working on it.
Thanks again.
More than a little disappointed. The one I received has already been used. Backplate covered in brick dust and the security screws are missing.

Installed it anyway while I organise a replacement and wonder if it was returned owing to iffy image quality and motion sensing. I can literally stand in front of it and wave my arms with nothing being triggered! Video looks like a webcam from the early 00's, nowhere near as good as videos I've seen online. Guess it's a duffer.

Edit: saw the Ring 2 and Dot offer was still on. Figured I'd likely need a Chime or Dot eventually anyway so went for that instead.
