See who's at the door before you open it

The Ring Video Doorbell allows you to set up motion detection zones which alert you when movement is detected. By sending an alert to your iOS or Android mobile device using the Ring app, you can keep track of what is happening around your property at all times.

With a camera that covers a full 180 degree field of view and a range of up to 30 feet, the 720p HD wide-angle lens allows you to review your recordings in high quality. There are also infrared LEDs to allow you to see clearly even in the dark.

Save and review your video

You receive a free 30 day trial of Ring's cloud storage feature, allowing you easy access to the video recorded by the Ring Video Doorbell. Once this trial has finished, you can also subscribe for further access to the Cloud storage with both monthly and annual fees.

Two-way audio

In addition to video footage, the Video Doorbell enables you to speak with visitors using built-in speakers and microphone. This makes it even easier to communicate with visitors to your home, allowing you to keep your home even more secure.

I have no clue TBH. I want one, but not V1, 720p, reviews are worse than the other versions but the price is much higher on the other versions.
Based on reviews I believe the Nest ones are better, but quite expensive. And they need wiring while this one does not.
If I was to go with one, I will choose the one for the peep hole, at least is easier to charge and the battery is indoors, not exposed, so will last longer.
I don't think the video door bells are where they should be now and I feel they are still expensive. This seems on ok price and voted hot, but still waiting for V2 for under £50😁. Still strange to see V1 for £90 since over 2 years ago...

This is a good price, probably one of the best so far. I am debating what is better, something like this, or a Reolink camera for £50 by the normal door bell so will trigger action when somebody is at the door. The problem with the camera is it will be easier to get it stollen...
Had one a couple of years, they're pretty good but had to have it replaced last year after very cold weather. Was done free but was told that it must be brought in if it goes below -2 I think was the figure. Need to charge it about 3 or 4 times a year and of course you need to pay the monthly fee to ring
Version 3 is out soon as my friend has it to test for them.

I would still go for the Pro as even though the new version records the events quicker the first few seconds are in black and white
