Good price.

I am looking to purchase one of these. What is the benefit of this one over other similar but cheaper wifi doorbells?

thanks!

Which other ones are you looking at?

Mixed reviews. Not U.K. Weather resistant...

No warranty with Amazon warehouse either

Watch some videos before purchasing. It gives you fish eye type view - not like a normal camera.

If these are already being sent back....

Out of curiosity, what happens if visitor knocks instead of ringing bell?
Are you able to open up live view quickly to see who is there without getting an alert?

Was looking into purchasing a wired video bell and this would be less hassle to install, provided its reliable of course.

Great price

Watch the Techmoan video before buying.... you might be glad you did.

If nothing else watch from this point

Not true - you get a full 1 year - I don't know why people keep posting this.

Thanks for link.

The delay is a deal breaker for me.

Where did you get that? It doesn't say you get any warranty on the amazon warehouse deals site. Please post a link. Thanks

I've had refunds for faulty goods from Amazon Warehouse after 6-9 months.

Do you own one?

Could you tell me how long it takes from pressing button to having an image of who is at the door?

Yes, I've got one. The response time depends upon the connection speed and your speed of reply. If both fast, maybe 10/15 seconds, but faster if you see them via motion alerts before ringing the bell. I would not buy this without chime, as the phone may be on silent or in another room.

Not very convincing. You've posted a link to another hukd thread. I've checked the warehouse deals Amazon site and there is no warranty. Just 30 days returns. You might have been lucky with your faulty goods return.

that's talking about a manufacturers warranty.

Deedie

that's talking about a manufacturers warranty.

Not sure the manufacturer will be interested in covering your used product anyway, but let's say it's about that. Where then does it say that amazon provide 12months warranty?

It's not stated on the website but I've just re-confirmed with Amazon live chat (especially for you) and they stated:

06:16 PM GMT Cate: As this are warehouse deals, we can only offer a refund or a discount if the order is still fixable. As this is an electronic item, we offer a warranty for a year.
06:20 PM GMT Cate: No worries on that, this is covered with a 1 year warranty with amazon as this is an electronic item. I am sorry that the page does not state this and I will forward a feedback on this one. But please do take note that this is not for a manufacturer's warranty.

much appreciated.

I bought this new for £139. At £89.78 for used this is very good value, especially if you get 1 year warranty with it.

Interested in something like this, but wondering, what alternatives are there to this?

I am so tempted but I don't want to pay subscription to view saved videos...

These are probably the ones I sent back !!! Both didn't work , worked fine in the house while setting up but as soon as I took them out to place on the gate they wouldn't connect to wifi and when they did connect the delay between ringing the bell and getting a notification was 1-2 mins , the gate is about 3 meters away from my router - for £160 I want a door bell to work with out endless calls to rings tech department

I love my ring. Very useful to see who is coming to the door, when items are delivered / collected, when the TV licence salesman is trying to again sell me something I don't want or need.. Great for fact verification of so many things. Here's an example of where it's useful, and avoiding items being delivered to neighbours:
