Is this reliable? Or is it worthwhile spending more £? Does it come with a 8 pin GPU connector?
The 850w rates as a must have on kitguru.

These are quality psu's coming from a company founded by ex Corsair and Nvidia staff

Its listed as a tier 1 PSU so on par with Seasonic focus gold, Corsair RMx, etc.

There's a full review of it with specs here -

Edit: bought it, paid £59.61 with possible cashback, saved around £15-£20 for a comparable gpu. Now i could do with tomahawk max dropping below £90, was hoping it would go down towards £80ish. Still haven't decided what ram to go for

Probably buy it then. Any idea if it has a warranty?

Just checked, 5 years with CCL and it may have a 10 year manufacturers warranty from looking on their website. Not sure about that though since they are based in the US.

If you need a processor as well go for the awd-it motherboard+CPU deal.

Most of them will come with some sort of manufacturers registration but can't say for sure which ones. They will also all come with some sort of warranty from the company you bought them from though.

Btw did the quidco cashback track with you for the Riotoro PSU? Mine hasn't up to yet.

Zotac GPUs do for the 5 year warranty. Not sure about the others, registering for warranties isn't common practise.
