£150 FYI for a halfords own brand model

To be honest, why would you want to watch on a 3inch screen?:S

Thanks for the replys, 3" screen aint that good, but it's only 150

Actually, a 3" screen would probably look quite big when you're pressed up against it in a 3 car pile up......

I've just booked my car in to have this fitted (its free @ Halfords) tomorrow.

So... are they any good? Anybody had problems with them?

I've just seen one in the store, wired up to a TFT for a larger screen, and it looks pretty nifty.

I think the built-in screen is gonna come in great use when navigating folders of MP3's on a dvd. Mmmm... 100 albums per DVD... this is gonna be awesome!

There's also an on-screen display of your radio station memory, very pretty.

Maybe I'll make a dvd of low-quality (since the screen is tiny) films (all of which I own, of course), just in case I get stuck anywhere for a while.

Plus, the buttons / lights (except the screen of course) are greenish/cyanish... which fits with everything else in my car!

*Excited*

Welcome to HUKD vodzurk! Hope someone can help with your queries...

Finally got it fitted (getting one into an old MX-5 was a specialist job, so couldn't get the free install)...

But I highly recommend this stereo. It's awesome! 4.5Gb of mp3's translates to me having one dvd in it with 80 albums on!

I've still not tried the video out (hey, i bought it for music), but am pretty pleased so far.

My only slight annoyance is the required use of the remote control if you want to naviagate albums/folders. But aside from that, its awesome! :D.
