Wasn't this game £21 or something in the sale?

Worth every penny. I'm playing this, when I'm not on R6 and love it. Definitely worth a try!

Nice heads up. Ta.

Really want this but holding out until buying a decent 4K HDR TV, surround sound and the pro in the spring hopefully. Good game to showcase it.

I thought I didn't compare against the first.
I hot bored whilst playing, towards the end it felt like a chore.

Yea I felt exactly the same! I absolutly loved the first reboot, I even picked up the definitive edition when they remade it for ps4. This mind, I struggled grind to complete it.

I'm playing this at the moment. It isn't gripping me like tomb raider 2013 did. I think it's to open world so I'm less invested in the story. I'm also sick of listening to her whine over her Dad.

Too many games think we give a monkeys about the protagonist's family members, all we want is to collect stuff and fight bosses.

Bought this in the PSN sale recently, as 2013 Tomb Raider was one of my favourite PS3 games. Replaying the PS4 definitive edition before ROTR and its even better on PS4. Personally I am not a massive fan of open world games. It suits some games like GTA, Fallout, Skyrim, but something like Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Last of Us, I want a good linear story. I don't mind different ways of progressing that story (to an extent), but I want to be led down a path and taken on a journey through the game.

Batman games are a prime example for me. I loved Arkham Asylum, it is a fantastic game and I really enjoyed the story arc. Yet Arkham City just didn't do it for me, it didn't hold my interest as I felt sidetracked all the time by side missions, the same with Arkham Knight unfortunately. Seems to be a trend in games over the last 5-10 years that "open world is better" but I don't think that is always the case.

Not as good as the first one but it's still a good game, heat
