8 bar pressure? Most gravity fed showers will produce 0.5 bar if you're lucky. Only for powered showers / pumped.

I bought this for £15 from Tesco.

I don't like it at all, very poor quality

Suitable for up to 6-8..... does not say what the minimum is but it will work on most showers as they will be under 6bar.

If the specs are correct I dont think this will work on many peoples showers, most powered showers and pumps wont come close, bearing in mind a 'big' pump is 3-4 bar. And if they are not correct why are you buying a piece of Kit that the supplier doesnt even comprehend the basics!

This is almost 120psi in real measurements, enough to blow you out of the shower, if you have such pressures, which is very doubtful!!.

No such thing as a gravity fed shower. All showers are off cold mains, i.e electric, off hot and cold through combi boiler or pumped off hot and cold tanks.

Nonsense! If you have a conventional boiler (not combi) and a hot water storage cylinder, the hot and cold supply will be gravity fed, usually from a cistern in the loft. In most flats and some houses, the head of water (vertical distance from bottom of cistern to shower head or rose) may be as little as 1 or 2 metres (1 metre = 0.1 bar) which will not produce much pressure at the shower without a pump being added - at least 0.5 bar is needed. A shower fed by mains water (i.e. combi or electric) will have a pressure of at least 1 bar and often quite a lot more, depending on one's location.

This Aldi shower should be fine on around 0.3 bar or more. The similar Lidl product likewise.

Nope. ' Fraid you're wrong there. anyone with a Hot Water Cylinder in an airing cupboard will have a gravity fed (Hot Water) shower. The cold feed may or may not be gravity fed, usually that is off the mains, even that will probably be only 2-3 bar pressure upstairs.
This states a 6-8bar requirement, so you need a power shower to make this work effectively.

Even the LIDL LED Shower head they were selling last week requires at least 1.5bar pressure to work (written in tiny writing on the box). How many people purchased it only to find that it didn't work.

The Aldi ads clearly state 'Suitable for up to 6-8 bar water pressure', not that there is a requirement of 6 bar minimum - or does the actual product suggest otherwise? Even with a pump, a pressure of more than about 3 bar would be most unusual (and unnecessary).

Can someone who has actually inspected, bought or used this product give us the true picture?

As I stated will be pumped. i.e from tanks. So not gravity fed.

All mixer shower are either directly off hot and cold if you have a combi. If off hot and cold tanks then the water is pumped to the shower head. So not gravity fed to shower. You Cannot pump off cold mains. it has to be off the tanks.
