yes - the only one making money is the author from our curiosity - making money involves (some or all of) hard work / a bit of genius / ability to spot a market / a lot of luck
Is this similar to the Rich Dad/Poor Dad books? They are truly, truly, awful
This guy used to do property investment seminars.

That really doesn't mean anything, so do scammers.

I know nothing about this author or book b.t.w, it could be genius for all I know
As boring as it, IMO the wisest approach to money is to develop a skill (through education, training, etc) and put it to use via a job or own business with work and dedication, and live within your means.

Everything else in books like these is additional to the core fundamentals as above, be that investments, market strategies, etc etc

As for people who thrive outside this structure - pretty much all of them either has a particular talent (arts, physical ability, intellectual prowess) and/or a large slice of luck.
Great book, also his podcasts are very good. Not revolutionary but worth listening.
