It's just another "toy" gadget aimed at the Millennial market who seem largely incapable of using basic utensils such as frying pans, saucepans and ovens

More time to relax? For 2 minutes? You'd have to have omelettes morning noon and night, 7 days a week to make any noticeable relaxation time.

Difficult to clean

The trick is to put damp paper towels on the still warm plates, close the machine and after a while all baked on food will become loose and easy to wipe off the plates. I do that with my George Foreman grill, looks new after each clean with the damp paper towels.

Really?
I don't quite get how it is less work . You still mix the eggs, cook the omelette and then clean the pan/omelette maker so how is it less work or worth buying this?
I ordered mine at about 3pm and it was ready to collect an hour later. About to make my omelette no and will post a picture.

You don't have to watch the frying pan, flip the omelette over, etc. Just pour the egg mixture into the machine. I will try it out now.
Can't see how it can make good fluffy omelettes and would think they come out like a brick as you have to virtually scramble the egg whilst cooking in the frying pan for a while to get the air into them.

I usually finish mine off under a hot grill to cook the top and not to overcook the rest.

Good grief. It's an omelette - it saves probably 5 minutes. If it was a Sunday roast making machine I could possibly understand the appeal of saving some time.

It performs more like an oven than a frying pan.

£11.95 standard delivery to Northern Ireland ........ I'll pass .
Nice trolling Rosalina, you got a bite or two.
I’ve got the version 1 of this called “frying pan” not only can you use it to cook omelette but many other items too and if like someone else suggested above that flipping was such hard work well it has an oven proof handle so can bung it in the oven getting the same effect as version 2 listed here.

At most you will save 1 or 2 minutes. This really is a product for the totally unskilled in the kitchen.

I don't think it's just for the youngsters.

There are plenty of bone idle older people who are afraid to use a kitchen because they have never learned to cook.

It's the omelette.
I use mine at work where we dont have a cooker but do have a plug socket! It has its uses and works pretty well
The time saved in ' not watching or flipping ' will be taken up by longer time to wash it..a frying pan is so easy to wash...unless it is not washed!

That's true...and good use actually...might satisfy health and safety...but what about handling raw eggs...usually people do with quick salad making or reheating food for lunch...your work place must have a good kitchen...
