This is no comparison to a Nutri Ninja. It's a very basic, budget machine with a 1200w motor. Invest a bit more for a much better machine.

These are trash.
Nutribullet and Ninja are the way to go, just get the right wattage for your needs.
I really believed in this one and got it twice and unfortunately both have lasted exactly a year each.
Works great but have a huge problem.

These have motors which are not sealed so if a little liquid or water goes in the motor becomes very noisy and then unusable.

So finally i am moving to the nutribullet even though its 600w it does everything that this one does and hopefully it will last longer than this which hardly lasts a year

Even though its a great price, its just not worth it in the long run

Check your local Morrison's. My store (Oxted) is selling 3 packs in their clearance section with a price tag of £3, but they scan through at £2. They are taller, but doesn't seem in issue in my Britta jug.
My local Sainsbury's had Britta ones on offer last week, probably a clearance thing, but packs of 6 maxtras for £7.50 so I picked up a couple to see me through a year.

Basically any battery that is labelled "Heavy Duty" or "Super Heavy Duty" …Basically any battery that is labelled "Heavy Duty" or "Super Heavy Duty" are utterly useless for any form of digital electronics and IMO should be taxed highly to discourage the waste that Poundland are causing by selling them to people who do not understand that they are buying batteries that are useless to them under the guise of a good deal.Without getting into too much detail, if you have been using zinc batteries in your Xbox controller then you have been throwing them away when they still have about 60% of their power still in them. The reason is that the peak voltage output by zinc batteries falls pretty quickly and digital electronics need a certain level of voltage to work. Alkaline keep a high level of voltage until they are just about depleted. In short, if you see "Heavy Duty" or "Super Heavy Duty" on the label put them back on the shelf. Four alkalines will outlast those twelve and some.

Thanks for that info.. bit annoyed with myself now for the wastage. Will make sure I buy no more of them!

Sounds like you're talking about the normal Kodak ones, which are Zinc, …Sounds like you're talking about the normal Kodak ones, which are Zinc, they inherently have a small capacity and also don't hold up well under load. Any alkaline will last much better, most brands perform ok, so try to just get them cheap. They usually work out better value for the how much longer they last. If you can get to a Home Bargains they often have 10 Readycell alkaline for £1.59 normal price. Poundland do the Kodak Xtralife 5 for a pound which is still not too bad. However for console remotes/trimmers/torches/camera flashes I've been using rechargeables for ages. I've got some Sanyo Eneloops from 2006 and they're still holding up well. Also got some GP Recyko which have been good too.

Thanks yeah just the normal Kodak ones ( they are zinc but say heave duty on them ) I have been using and they dont last long at all. Dont have a Home Bargains anywhere near me as I live in the city .. think mates got one nearby her though so shall see if she can pick me up some to try. Otherwise I'll look at the rechargeable route. Thanks for the reply !

Is this better than deep frying, taste wise?

No. It’s an oven taste. The difference is that they are much quicker and convenient than using an oven. Unless you’re cooking a large quantity. Then an oven is better as it got more space.
4.5 digital at Morrisons is a very good price at only £40
