if i hadnt've just bought a squeezebox, i would have jumped on this. its by far the cheapest DAB radio that can record to SD card. apart from the fugly BUG radio, its hard to find one that does it for under a ton

All this is missing is an iPod dock (that charges iTouch 2G's) and we're golden.

no usb port or line in

now a discontinued product

robertsradio.co.uk/Pro…htm

but a deal nonetheless

I think electrical123 and coop are the same operator - there's nothing specific to say that but the website is the same structure.
I actually bought this from them Christmas time - same price, arrived within 48 hours. Only thing I thought was poor was the item was sent in box, with no additional protective box. So postage label was stuck on retail box and there was no hiding what it was !

I had a 32" LCD TV arrive the same way from a different retailer, quite supprised I recieved it!!!!!!!!!

With Quidco at 2% as well.

Heat & Rep given to OP.

Anyone already own one of these? Comments? Is it stereo (specs don't seem to mention the fact and imo having a mono speaker DAB is kinda pointless!)?

Thanks.

I think it's mono but the stereo imagery on a small portable radio is so negligible that I can't see that it matters!

Thanks for the reply.

You're correct, it has a mono speaker (I read a couple of on-line reviews).

Still like to hear from anyone who owns this model before deciding to take the plunge and order one.

We bought one because John Lewis said it had better reception than our PURE DAB radio; we're in a poor reception area so had trouble picking up a signal. The Roberts does have better reception, but it's rather big and the sound quality isn't a patch on the PURE. If reception isn't a problem for you, I'd get a PURE instead.
