I'm guessing maybe you could as I have the Roberts S2's and you can set them up as either seperate devices or left and right.
I bought the S2 from Amazon around Christmas for £40 (currently £55 as is the S1) . Great speaker for the price. This price is better but I've pasted the amazon link in case there is any ext info (plus reviews).

It does say they could connect in stereo.
I've had the Roberts S2's for a while now (one in the kitchen and one in the utility room) and am blown away by the sound and build quality for the price (think I paid £50 for the larger stereo S2).

If you have the space (if it does not have to be on a bedside cabinet or something) I would go for the S2.

The only problem is the app is a little "clunky", but that does not bother me too much.

For the price you will not get anything better than this (in terms of build and sound quality) for under £100.

Also it has the option to be used as a Bluetooth speaker as well (something the Sonos does not have. I just use mine for Internet radio though.

Thank you. Good buy. Just got one for my bathroom. Wish I could control it directly from the unit rather than the app..but no great hardship.
Couldn't zoom in the pics in the S1 and S2 models to see if they got audio jack-in, can somebody tell me about it?If so, would be interesting to plug the chromecast audio to also use the speakers via wifi

To power this on/off do i need to press a switch? Asking as i would like to hang 2 of these up in an undercover out door area?

There is a 3.5mm audio jack on both the S1 and S2, We've got both and they've been great so far

Yes they've both got Ethernet ports as well, covered most of the basics really with wifi, bluetooth and jack socket, great stand alone or as a stereo pair much more versatile than some makes out there. There is talk of dodgy connectivity over wifi, reading lots of reviews suggested to set them up on 5ghz which I have and they have been Ok for us, obviously the ethernet port is a stable option if you need it.

No worries The Undok app is a bit clunky but once you've set them up it's OK, if you use Spotify premium then you can stream to them from the Spotify app rather than the Undok one.
Any links for S2 if that's better than the S1

I bought. Roberts SB1 soundbar. I don’t use it for the TV but as a stand alone radio and speaker. It’s really powerful. £100- £150
