When do you pick up. Can you post back and let us know how it sounds. Have been looking at the Roberts Eco and Uno only this morning (both approx £50) Not rearlly bothered about the solar bit I just want the best sound of the 2..... now 3.
I've heard this radio in a store...... its ok for music, but not so good for speech. It's quite bassy, and doesn't have a tone control.

The best sounding Roberts DAB is the Ecologic 4 with treble & bass control and a decent wattage, but its almost twice the price of this.

£71.... not bad..... It's a bit of a beast for the window sill though. specs say it is 115mm deep. The Pure Evoke I have is dying and won't fit on the windowsill anymore (new vertical blinds) so want to replace with a smaller footprint radio.

I've got the Ecologic 4, had it over a year now. I bought it specifically because of the high sound quality as its the DAB radio in the house that gets the most use.
Its only 115mm deep with the handle folded to the back of the radio, with the handle raised to the top its only 90mm deep.
I listened to almost every DAB you can get, in a variety of shops, before i chose the Ecologic 4.... its sound blows the rest of em out the water.
I should add though...... what you gain in sound quality with the Ecologic 4, you lose in features. It has no line in, so forget running an MP3 player through it. Neither does it have pause / rewind or record facility.
thanks rawhead, one came into stock in birmingham, so i hit lucky and grabbed it - much appreciated.
