A great price - may thanks for finding it. To make it an even better bargain, dice up an apple (cooking or Granny Smith) and add about half by weight to the mincemeat - Robertson makes annoyingly sweet mincemeat (IIRC, sugar is the biggest single ingredient) and adding the apple fixes that, plus makes the result appear more home made and gives it more variation in texture and a bit of crunch...
Thanks Grrrrrrrrrrrr, Yes you are correct sugar is the biggest ingredient on the jar, I will give the diced apple addition a try this weekend when I make up a batch of treats.

i got it for 10p at tesco! large half a kilo jars are same price there as 250g.

Sugar , Apples (26%) , Vine Fruit (26%) (Sultanas, Raisins, Currants with Glazing Agent (Palm Oil, Sunflower Oil)) , Candied Mixed Peel (4%) (Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Orange Peel, Sugar, Lemon Peel, Citric Acid) , Vegetable Suet (Palm Oil, Sunflower Oil, Rice Flour) , Treacle , Acetic Acid , Mixed Spices (0.3%) (Cinnamon, Coriander, Dill, Fennel, Cloves, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cassia) , Citric Acid , Antioxidant (Ascorbic Acid) .

20p is pretty good, though, madam, so I'll just give you a warning this time...
