Does anyone know what this steelbook edition is like?
I read the other day that the Green Zone steelbook isn't as good as the regular version and is just dull and blank on the inside. Is this Robin Hood the same, do you know?

yeah went to the cinema to see this, I went assuming a ridley scott movie was a sure fire hit, couldn't be more wrong.

Well I watched this film 2 weeks back thinking it was going to be rubbish after reading a few reviews and I enjoyed it. Just ordered this to add to my Steelbook collection.

Thanks OP.

You would think that someone with as much clout as Ridley Scott would be able to push his version as the theatrical cut, rather than having to reach a compromise and have a director's cut separate to the theatrical.

He got exactly the cut he wanted into the cinemas. Calling this version a 'director's cut' is just a marketing spiel intended to make us buy the same crap twice. And it is crap in this case, even worse than Kingdom of Heaven. A lemon in a tin box is still a lemon.

Maybe in the director's cut he should have sorted out the lead actors' shcking 'British' accents. A merry man I was not. Unwatchable...

Irish Accents you mean?

Is it just me ? apart from gladiator most movies with Russell Crowe in are fairly boring??

Completely agree. This film is an epic fail for Scott and Crowe. Crowe's accent changes to Liverpuddlian someway through the film and this film is historically inaccurate. Avoid this movie even for less than a tenner. I won't either way due to me not caring whether it's the best price or not.

One of the worst movies i've seen. Walked out the cinema.

Don't think about buying it.

Not just Crowe's accent either. About 2/3 of the cast seemd to have Irish accents at times. There was even a scene with everybody dancing to Celtic-style music.

Movie was ok but ruined a bit by the silliness of the above.

genuinely came into this with a very open mind (heard about the dodgy accent issue, but wasn't too bothered). Anyway - it was awful if you as me... or the wife for that matter. No pacing, no peril, just drudgery.

The only reason I would recommend this to anyone is background research before you listen to the interview that Russell Crowe gave to Mark Lawson on radio 4 which is an absolute peach of stroppy Crowe going off on one! Legendary.
