Just popped into local Morrisons (Wigan) and they had a display of blu-rays from £5. Most were £7 or more and old rubbish blu-rays, but they had 2 copies of Robin Hood for £5, bought one and left one on display. Not online, INSTORE ONLY. Not sure is nationwide (staff not very helpful as usual). It shows on the reciept as "DVD 5800" but definately blu-ray packaging and barcode. They could be clearing old stock?

Hope it helps someone.

Agreed, thought the movie was OK at best, but for £5 it's another blu-ray to my collectiion.

Films OK. But Russell Crowe should return at least half his fee for the appalling list of accents he used.

hope the have it at this price in bolton will have a look tomorrow like you said it would be rude not to at this price and i havent seen it yet which makes it all that much bettter

I do not doubt that the OP bought it at this price. As for anyone else getting it, there is more chance of a LibDem MP voting honestly instead of voting to keep their ministerial car.

None at Ferry Road, Edinburgh - never seen a discounted blu in there ever.

Just rang the Carlisle store and they said they no longer stock Robin Hood on blu-ray.

that'll be because it dropped out of their bluray chart a couple of months ago & maybe dont realise its supposed to be back in stock for a stand that goes out today.
i know we are still waiting for stock of it too! was going to buy the dvd at £6 until i saw this was going to £5!

I think they've just priced up the blu-ray with the dvd price tbh, good find though! I got the dvd for 2.99 from sainsbury's so who knows it could be right

+1 a really so-what effort at Robin Hood.

Sadly it felt like one of many to me, just the start of a crappy saga.

if ever a film didnt need an extended directors cut...

Crap film aside I haven't seen this for less than £9 anywhere else. Hot from me.

Definitely worth £5!
It seems to get a lot of slack, but I thought it was pretty sweet in the cinema, and I'd definitely pick it up for £5
Shame I don't live near a Morrison's, though

Hot because of the price, but boy is this a tedious film.....

5* blu ray picture, 5* audio, 2* film. Im a sucker for films that look & sound good so for a fiver im in (if i can find one)

hot X)

I watched the chap from peep show doing greatest movie cock ups, there was about 3 entries from this - a chainsaw precision cut tree stump, ww2 style landing craft and the vapour trail of an airplane in the sky near the last battle scene. I thought this wasnt that bad tbh despite its critics (aka the vast majority of people)

Banned

I liked the 1994 (i think), Morgan freeman, Kevin Costner's version of it allot better. I think thats the nicest comment of this thread so far, regarding this film lol.

As usual, with other deals offered by Morrisons, who don't have any stores in NI, I will be willing to pay for someone to get me a copy plus postage by PPG?? Please PM me!!! Can provide fleabay references(Profile 100% over 800 items bought/sold!!)!!!!

Thanks MacPhisto - I can confirm that this deal is valid and perhaps uk wide as I found it at my local Morrisons in East Dereham (Norfolk). They had 2 empty cases on the shelf (which had £5 stickers on) but I was given a sealed copy from the drawer and had DVD 5800 on the receipt like you said.

I didn't see this in the cinema and realise that it has received mixed reviews, but I am half way through and it seems pretty good and a nice alternative to as Prince of Thieves.

Morrisons seem to be having some good bluray deals lately (also picked up Inception for £9.99 the other week, thanks hotukdeals!!!!)

This really is a SHHHHHHHHH*********************************TE film

are you guys sure its on blu-ray?.....
