Isn't this about as overpriced squash as you can get?
Just a gimmicky novelty thing.

1.5l of Tesco concerntrated squash (various flavours Inc mango and orange and cherries and berries) £1. Makes 100+ drinks.

Robinsons 1l squash, often 2 bottles for £2.50. makes 50 or so drinks.

What is the point of these? For someone to carry it around for when they buy a bottle of water and can add this to it? Surely it would be better to just bring your own bottle with you filled with squash prepared at home. I don't see the point of "I know. I will bring this extra thing with me for when I buy a bottle of water later in the day".

we took these on our trip to florida and came in very handy when we were out all day at the disney parks. didn’t need to carry any drinks, just got free iced water from any food place in the park and a quick squirt of this turned it into a nice drink. we saved so much money overall in not having to buy drinks constantly on our trip. Plus the squash bottle is small enough to fit in my hand bag. so we had no water bottles to lug around and re-fill

I take these in my hand luggage at the airport so much cheaper than buying drinks on the plane or after going through security. I buy bottled water from boots then add this.

Whilst it may be for picnics you can still use it at home. I have a picnic in my garden when the weather is good for it - seeing as I can't exactly do it in the park or anywhere else at the moment
My husband takes it to work, very handy

People who work in hospitals ie me use them not gimmicky at all!! The car park is 1/2 a mile from the front door so to lug a 1.5l bottle around rather than this makes sense!! I’d hardly call myself someone who buys gimmicky items like to think it’s common sense. These are priced at £2.49 so to purchase at £1.50 is a great deal.

Yea they are gimmicky. Paying £1.50 for 66ml of squash in a small packet is crazy.

Anyway, someone could easily pour squash into a water bottle and take it with them (especially if it's a sports style bottle with squeezy cap), at the expense of 20p perhaps?

When their are alternatives that can do the same thing at a much lower price, it makes this a gimmick.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only 1 who does this as they're under 100mls. I do just buy the supermarket own brand ones though.

I was just about to suggest this use case, will Ryanair supply a round of water for free?
Haven’t tried them but was after some ,as when able to fly again will be handy for Disney parks ,as their water fountain tastes weird so to add that will keep us hydrated
These are handy to take somewhere, then buy the bottled water at your destination and use the squash.
These are ideal at airports (plus other places) and at many airports you don't actually have to buy bottled water as there are water fountains after going through security (we have used them at Bristol Airport). Here is the link about free water at various airports. aph.com/com…ed/

they are great for taking on holiday... E.g going around the theme parks in the US, they last ages and can keep filling up from the water fountain multiple times per day

They are ultra concentrated too, so last for ages, it isn't the same as 66ml of squash

20 drinks worth.

Also ultra concentrated (double strength anyway) for £1:

You don't need to put much of that into the squash at all, I put the same as I would do with normal squash in once and ended up sat on the toilet most of the evening....Never again

Yeah that is double concentrate, but the stuff in the tiny bottles is totally different - but each to their own. My lad dirnks a lot and doesnt like fizzy drinks at all, so these are always on the shopping list for holidays .

I often see the 6 pack on amazon for 9 quid but usually resit buying since 6 would last a while!

With Prime membership they used to give you a £1 no rush credit (sometimes to be used on music etc) - given they are dealing with extra deliveies at the moment they reintroduced it if you select that you dont mind when it comes (not available on everything). I ordered something last week and had a £1 added automatically

It's just in the way of saving money and getting a good deal (which is what HUKD's is all about), it's possible to bring a small bottle of the size which is allowed on a plane (100ml) fill it with something like the Tesco concerntrated squash, then you've got 100ml to take with you for less than 20p and you can reuse the small bottle over and over again.

I always keep one in my golf bag. I take a litre of squash with me, then when it runs out, I top the bottle up at the water fountain and add a squirt of this.
Great deal Op
