£2.28 here although will take a few weeks to arrive. ebay.co.uk/itm…951?hash=item3a9db58ff7:g:CGEAAOSwaNBUiqhe

Ha this is good fun for the price. I received it for Christmas - small plastic parts, dont expect anything too impressive but on the whole it works and is great intro to solar. I've built the turbine which is spot on, the car is fun too but doesn't have enough grip (torque?) to move when in contact with the ground, the wheels only spin for me when you hold it up in the perfect position to get the sun. Can't moan for the cost

at least its something you can build (hopefully) with kids, and doesn't involve killing monsters on monitor

I found this little solar car good fun on a summer's day, got 2 for the kids and they had good fun racing them. Only £1 each delivered. ebay.co.uk/itm…408?hash=item3d2e489f78:g:AHYAAOSwux5YV0vp

good price for solar car, but enjoy it more unbuilt

Bought 2 of these before Christmas and neither of the solar panels work. Tested by connecting to a battery which works no problem so will have to return. Just a word of warning for those buying to keep the receipt!

Don't bother, unless you have a 200w Bulb permanently attached to this thing, the sorry excuse of a solar panel will do nothing.

I could not get the bits to fit and returned them

Got this for my lad it doesn't really work when built in any of its various modes , that was with the Sun bearing down on it but as others have mentioned it gets young kids involved with concept of solar power so for a few quid its probably just about worth it

They work fine in summer, in bright sunlight. Otherwise forget it.

Bought that kit some time ago. Utter rubbish, half of it won't work at all while the other half will break after a day...

They are not even with a penny

Good price but is that rust?

It feels like some kind of tough recycled cardboard

got it for hubby as a joke present for Christmas. didn't work

Ours worked off eBay

I bought one of these sets today, built the revolving plane and it works when placed under one of our LED spotlight bulbs.

don't waste money one this.
